joeysteele 18-01-2017 10:39 PM

I don't understand him on this.
He has worn things in films,he is an actor after all.

Marcus. 18-01-2017 10:40 PM

...possibly NOT Lycra...he isn't that sort of actor

Vanessa 18-01-2017 10:50 PM

But everyone else is wearing it :bored:

Northern Monkey 18-01-2017 10:52 PM

Oh nevermind,It's only good old James C.He shouldn't have to follow the rules if he doesn't want. He's just too nice for all that

That's exactly what I was thinking Joey. It seems a bit petty to refuse. He must wear all sorts of costumes in the movies.

So what...he is a 70 odd year old man...and if he doesn't want to wear Lycra on NTV then that's his decision.

Kazanne 18-01-2017 11:53 PM

If they had to wear lycra suits perhaps he was embarrassed to wear it,maybe the masks make him claustaphobic ,maybe he thinks it will liven his persona up,or maybe he really does want to leave. He's allowed one fault ,God knows the others have plenty.

Jack_ 18-01-2017 11:59 PM

Bit petty and if this were anyone else they'd be called every name under the sun on here, but if it means he starts pissing people off then good, it's about time he did something

LukeB 19-01-2017 12:00 AM

You go James coco :clap1:

I imagine actors will still draw the line. Such as the ones who require no nudity/skimpy outfits clauses in their contract.

Jeor Mormont wouldn't be caught dead in a catsuit.

Natalie. 19-01-2017 06:39 AM

Fair enough

Beso 19-01-2017 06:42 AM

They should get mel on the phone, he would soon change his mind.:smug:

Alf 19-01-2017 06:42 AM

They should have given him a Santa Claus outfit, he'd have felt more comfortable then.

Don't go on BB then. I can't recall a series where they haven't at least wore something similar.

If it was Nicola refusing the forum would be dragging her for it.

JayBlaze 19-01-2017 07:19 AM

He's Lord Commander, he can do what he wants

joeysteele 19-01-2017 07:43 AM

I still don't get it, not to even try it.
Even misery Coleen put one on.

I have said I like James C but it's annoying he really does and says next to nothing.
They are told on going in,they have to do the tasks.

For me anyone refusing to do a task unless for a health issue, best not be there.
Really I do think he does not want to be and hasn't for over a week now.

Withano 19-01-2017 07:46 AM

Lycra suits creep me out more than most things in the world, ive never really understoody why.

But how would they have controlled Chloe? She'd have been like a ferret down a rabbit hole.

:joker:

Sorry he's a lovely guy but he has been on BOTS so he knows what he is signing up for, if he had a medical or psychological issue about wearing Lycra he wouldn't have to wear it, people have ducked out of tasks before due to issues ....

Kazanne 19-01-2017 08:18 AM

He's still doing the task so hasn't refused that,he has his reasons for not wanting to wear the suit,we dont have to know the ins and out of a ducks arse so let Cosmo live, great man is still a giant amongst peasants :-)

I'm not saying he ducked out of the task, all I'm saying is if he had an issue medically he would have been excused from wearing it, silly costumes that make them look like idiots play a part in the tasks so not to wear it is a bit pompous, he is probably trying to get himself nominated, and for the public to lose support for him, he won't want to walk and lose his fee at this point

Maybe he is allergic to lycra .

I agree in principle Kazanne but they are expected to do what is expected.
If this was Coleen or any other hm refusing to wear something, even if it were Jedward,I would be still saying they were wrong to refuse without a valid reason

There must not be a valid reason or anything as to health since BB have stated his refusal is a breaking of the rules.
BB is annoying but all hms no matter who they may be, should have to abide by the set rules they voluntarily accept in order to go on the show in the first place.

sampvt 19-01-2017 09:20 AM

Or maybe he does not like the idea of being made look stupid in the persuit of pleasing the producers. Many times lycra shows things we dont need to see and over weight people look hideous in it. Just look around at the over 50 cyclists.

This is what I think too,I mean he would look kinda ridiculous and would be a laughing stock especially to the stupid Chloe,or maybe he has got health reasons we are not privy to, and Joey I would have also understood Coleen had she refused, overweight people do not look good in lycra, infact does anyone? just a thought:wavey:

Actually for me Coleen looked better in the outfit and mask.:joker:

I think James would have looked rather good and with his acting skill, really excelled at this task.

I like him and think he has a good chance to reach the final, even possibly winning.
I'd far rather him win over most of them in there too now.

However I still say all housemates should do the full tasks unless there are health reasons for not doing so.
Let's hope he doesn't refuse any more elements of tasks as that could pull support from others away from him.

That's the point of the costumes, they are not made to wear them so they look good :joker:

Niamh. 19-01-2017 10:25 AM

The Lord Commander in Lycra? Don't be so stupid Luvvie

MrWong 19-01-2017 10:29 AM

He barely features and now this?

He should go next tbh. Lots of entertaining hm's this series and I'd be gutted if any left before him.

Dash Darington 19-01-2017 02:04 PM

Plenty of people have refused to wear costumes in the past. Michael Madsen, for example. Strange that people are making an issue of it now. I think the bottom-feeders' total lack of dignity has become the new normal for the audience, and they're confused by anything else.

Beso 19-01-2017 07:59 PM

It would probably irritate his arse crack rash.

the-gaffer 19-01-2017 08:21 PM

very childish, listening to his òwn press within the house, hope it backfires on him

Things like what?

Im not familiar with his work, has he appeared half naked or in skin tight clothing recently?

Jamie89 19-01-2017 08:39 PM

His cardigan IS his superhero costume
