It's called your prostate.

You have my heart if you can find it.

It's when you put someone else's needs and wishes before your own. Parental love is the closest to perfection I know. Love between partners can be nearly perfect too, although in my experience it nearly always works out that one loves and the other is loved.

A rush of adrenaline, dopamine and serotonin in the brain. You might as well eat a chocolate bar on a rollercoaster and avoid the hassle.

Crimson Dynamo 15-02-2017 07:46 AM

A glimpse through an interstice caught,
Of a crowd of workmen and drivers in a bar-room around the stove late of a winter night, and I unremark’d seated in a corner,
Of a youth who loves me and whom I love, silently approaching and seating himself near, that he may hold me by the hand,
A long while amid the noises of coming and going, of drinking and oath and smutty jest,
There we two, content, happy in being together, speaking little, perhaps not a word.

Love isn't just specific to a romantic partner that you plan to procreate with though

That's just a complication and doesn't affect the reason we evolved to 'love'.There are exceptions to every rule.

Love is a feeling of deep emotion, it can give you inner happiness.
When a relationship ends and you truly loved that person it can tear you apart.
