I've lost 2.5 stone in 7 weeks of dieting.

VanessaFeltz. 13-05-2017 08:49 PM

i think like 11 kg in 3 months?

Jay28jay2 13-05-2017 08:51 PM

About 5 pounds in a Week, nothing much but it was my first week changing my diet

user104658 13-05-2017 10:49 PM

I dropped about 4 stone in 7 months in my first year at Uni. I was drinking far too much and eating nothing but crap... technically I should probably have gained weight but looking back, I made myself pretty unwell - I think I was essentially malnourished by the end of the year.

Withano 13-05-2017 11:02 PM

You look like you use to be a massive fatty.

Locke. 16-05-2017 12:32 PM

I've lost 20 pounds in the past 8 weeks. I was about 12 and a half stone last summer but piled on the weight after getting back from America, pretty much lost it all again now. I've found tracking calories and hitting my macros pretty fun though so it's something I'll be sticking with.

Littlegreen 24-07-2017 01:30 PM

I lost 4-5 stone in a month.

Crimson Dynamo 24-07-2017 01:38 PM

what annoys me is all the jokes about people with weight problems

Dont people realise that they have enough on their plate?

Exactly, but bigger people are looked down upon.

I lost my weight through crash dieting (which became an eating disorder) but I was quite a happy soul in general previously - it was only the hell I had from others that made me want to be tiny.

Me. My dad was quite skinny just like me when he was my age but now he's fat I'm scared that's going to happen to me!

Crash dieting, I was exercising about 5 hours a day and eating next to nothing.

Livia 25-07-2017 01:59 PM

I lost a stone and a half in two weeks by fasting. It's hard, but I felt amazing after two weeks and have never gained that much weight again.

2 stone in a fortnight. Water fast. The weight drops off at an average of 2 pounds a day. Never came back either (with the exception of 2 pounds when I started eating again, which I think is mostly crap in your gut and bloat). I plan on doing another soon, though I never actually did it for the weight loss but for the health benefits, the weightloss was a happy side effect :D

Its dangerous though, breaking the fast. I didn't follow guidelines and ended up breaking it with a bacon sandwich, and the ****ing pain was unbelievable. You are meant to break it with veg or something, then work back to normal foods

I found it was only hard for the first 3 days, after that it was easy as ****. I had so much energy once the first few days were over with.

I broke it early as I felt kind of under pressure from those around me who kept saying how unhealthy it was (even though I knew different) where apparently you can go for 60 days, or more and still not damage yourself as your body is designed to do so. My doctor said it actually helps your body 'repair itself' when it doesn't have to focus on digesting food all the time.

i bought a 'superfood nutrition extractor' (a juicer ) on saturday. i thought i'd try some kind of vegetable juice fast. it's been 48 hours now since i ate food, i've just been drinking liquidised vegetables instead. i mean it tastes disgusting but i'm still getting nutrients and stuff while seemingly losing loads of weight already. i don't know precisely how much because i don't own any scales but my trousers are already getting loose!

i'll probably maintain it for about seven days maybe, then after that still have the juice morning and night but introduce some kind of meal in-between as well. maybe fruit if i want a snack.

(...i say this now, i'll be feeling ill from eating so many mince pies by the end of christmas day...)

caprimint 11-12-2017 12:16 PM

Livia and Vicky, did you notice like a major difference in your size after those 2 weeks?

Vicky. 11-12-2017 12:20 PM

I went from an 18 to a 14. I had a lot of weight to lose, obviously. Maybe why I seemed to lose at a higher rate than others. I think if I did it again now I would lose slower, but still fairly fast as technically I am still overweight now :(

Kizzy 11-12-2017 12:25 PM

Juice cleansed for 8 weeks and lost almost 4st, I'm doing it again in jan as working nights I've put 2 back on :/
