Couldn't he have just donated instead of inflicting himself ? wanting accolades so no change there.

Hopefully it has the actual local UK artists that were there helping out like Wstrn,Angel,AJ Tracey, Krept and Konan. Will probably just be the usual pop stars though, but at least it will make money so whatever.

The focus should be on loved ones grieving, searching for those missing & bringing people to justice, it shouldn't be glossed over by Simon and the musicians he likes singing a song

There are hundreds of platforms already available for people to donate, and millions have already been raised. This is a vanity project plain and simple.

One Love Manchester was fitting considering it was at a concert where people were uniting for their love of an artist's music. People who've lost their homes need help right away - they don't want to wait for a song to be recorded and released and the emphasis to be taken off their plight and put on artists that took an afternoon off earning thousands to record a few lyrics in a studio.

or he can do both like Ariana did? buying the single is still donating really.

I mean I'm sure he's in it for good intentions because he's a human like the rest of us but I don't wanna hear one more track with Gary Barlow in it in my lifetime.

I saw no people complaining about the Manchester concert which wasn't that much different tbh. Ariana I think did it out of the goodness of her heart and it made sense as it happened at her concert. The rest of the performers if we are going down the 'Cowell is just doing it to raise his profile route'..same can be said for them surely :shrug:

I'd agree with the likes of Miley/Bieber etc but most of the lineup being Manchester-based or strongly connected to the city (Take That, Robbie, Liam) made sense. Can't comment about the other British acts because I don't know where Little Mix/Coldplay are from.

Well tbf, people like Miley Cyrus are mates with Ariana so it kind of makes sense she'd try to get as many available artists that she knew to make a big show.

I actually didn't know the concert was free. How did people get tickets if they weren't originally there?

I saw people selling tickets too :suspect: For like 300 quid which was apparently a lot more than they 'bought' them for.

Probably signed up for them on a first come, first serve basis?
