A thought-provoking message of unity from Ian Duncan Smith.
http://www.conservativehome.com/thec...ehind-her.html
A wise man indeed - who makes some very good points, not least about the hypocrisy and hysteria surrounding the DUP alliance. |
A someone right leaning in their politics, I can without bias state categorically, that Ian Duncan Smith is a complete and utter tit.

Ugh. There's a name that hasn't darkened my synapses for a while. Trust you to dust off this irrelevant old troglodyte, Brillo... put him back in his box! Yuck.

Not to hear anything about him for a year sounds pretty good to me. |

This thread is about the common gastro-intestinal disorder known as IDS, not Corbyn. Stop derailing the thread :nono: |

Possibly the worst Tory of them all

Haha what a joke! The party is finished and he knows it... get behind may and the DUP? This is a man who RESIGNED his position due to decisions made by his party that he could not stand behind... So to call on others to fall in line is it best hypocritical.
''I am unable to watch passively while certain policies are enacted in order to meet the fiscal self-imposed restraints that I believe are more and more perceived as distinctly political rather than in the national economic interest. Too often my team and I have been pressured in the immediate run up to a budget or fiscal event to deliver yet more reductions to the working-age benefit bill … I hope as the government goes forward you can look again … at the balance of the cuts you have insisted upon and wonder if enough has been done to ensure ‘we are all in this together’.'' https://www.theguardian.com/politics...lity-cuts-live |

Not aids - see above. My last line was just my little dig at how those with weakened immune systems are more likely to buy into Corbyn and his 'promises'. :hee: |
IDS is disgusting. Not just 'nasty Tory' disgusting, like, actually genuinely disgusting. One only needs to look at his time at the DWP to see that.
This is a new low for this forum. |

Corbyn is not the coming you make him out to be. You can't kid a kidder. |

Problem with people like him is that he confuses 'unity' for 'getting people in line.'
Unity comes from compromise but people like him expect the opposition just to give up everything and align themselves with his beliefs. |

Ian Duncan Smith to me is one of the vilest politicians ever. |
Can't say I am a fan of his.

IDS talks a lot of sense

Personally I prefer ex prime minister Majors comments they make much more sense. To be fair you could be describing yourself there and your blinkered view of Mr Corbyn. I saw you remove a post yesterday as you presumed it was a Corbyn quote and it was IDS... ;) |

Of course you won't want that - so will do your very best to undermine his words - that is to be expected. |

You may be happy for public money being used as a ransom... I am not. That has nothing to do with Corbyn whatsoever. |

The comments under the article are interesting. Seems a LOT of Tory voters are upset with May and find her weak. Not surprising as most can see it. She is no good as PM. The sooner the Tories oust her the better for them I think.
