I told my friend that I love her yesterday too, it happens in real life. They spend a lot of time together, why shouldn't they be close like that? He didn't say he was in love with her.

but he's not said anything of sort in the diary room though? why would he be happy to tell the public his game plan in his VT but try to hide it from them in the diary room?

Because he gave up or was to afraid to follow through with it from the moment tom revealed to everyone that he was.a.game.player about half an hour after entering.

Even accounting for the fact his VT was exaggerated, there's a clear difference between romantic love and platonic love lol

I'm pretty sure he was referring to romantic love in his VT. Saying you love your friends doesn't mean you're "in love" with them, it just means you care about/appreciate them.

Also I'd assume he believes in love between family members but yet again that isn't romantic, it's different.

Well he did say " i dont believe in love" so i can only take from that that he means love in any form.

I would take that as a romantic stance.

i know i never take VT with a grain of salt. it really is amazing/surprising how they all been accurate for every HM to walk through those doors. bravo i say.
