Quick ralph, runaway....

Sitting with sue as she ripped into an absent chanelle, seemingly listening so he can give chanelle better advice.

Out pops chanelle after listening and has a pop back as others start to mingle. Raph hurridely exits stage left leaving chanelle to it.

Turning into a rather nasty clique of 4 that lot....andrew, chanelle, raph and now my wee izzy...all turning vile and nasty..

Dont leave me chanelle dont leave me...selfish little turd.

He showed himself for what he is last night ,trying to cover his arse telling Chan he sat and spoke to Sue and Simone to find out what they were saying about her (loads of bs) ,he sat with them as he thought noms were due ,not once did he defend Chanelle when Sue was dissecting her ,he then stayed in the bedroom after she left in tears ,if he's a friend I would rather have enemies

joeysteele 11-07-2017 07:23 AM

Not so, he actually wasn't agreeing with Sue about Chanelle even before Chanelle appeared.
He was politely listening to what Sue said but but not in agreement at all.

He then once seeing Chanelle upset, left to go to her.
That was a good thing to do.

Perhaps all he helped do was ensure Chanelle got to hear what Sue was saying directly,Sue was perhaps the foolish one, talking like that to someone who clearly likes Chanelle.

He did what a friend would, let someone near hang themself getting at one if his friends, then himself not agreeing and joining his friend.
Nothing wrong whasoeveryin in any of that.

bbfanzo 11-07-2017 07:25 AM

agreed. ralph is a ****

Wrong again..re watch.

He stuck around silently when chanelle came in..then hannah izzy and a couple of others came in and he scurried away from the situation out to have a smoke...he left chanelle.

:clap1: Then his grovelling around Chan explaining why he's kissing Sue and Simones backsides

joeysteele 11-07-2017 07:49 AM

In my opinion,it is ridiculous this endless trying to clutch at straws against Raph.

We get a few on here don't like him but it's amazing the petty criticisms thrown out at him.

It always astounds me people who dislike someone would actually prefer to talk about them more than people they like.
Raph did nothing out of order he was not agreeing with Sue and stayed letting Sue go on even after Chanelle came over too.
Utter rubbish with respect to infer he did anything untoward.
In fact he helped Chanelle get to hear someone going on about her behind her back.

Those who dislike him will never ever see it that way, those who look for the good in people rather than trying to invent bad where there is none, will easily see it differently thankfully.

I know, this pettiness has ruined the forum for me. We should be talking about the show, not obsess about someone to the point that everything they do its twisted.

Raph is a hm8 and as such is in there to be judge just as all the others are ,every series EVERYONE gets talked about both good and bad, this series is no different just because a member of this forum is in there and just because he's your fav, yourself and everyone else is guilty of dissecting the hm8s ,this is what happens on a forum

mizzy25 11-07-2017 08:01 AM

What I saw was Sue as usual *holding court* even if he wanted to, Raph would not be able to get a word in with Sue. When Chanelle did come out, yes Raph went for a ciggie leaving it to the girls to see to Chanelle (it doesn't take 10 of them) however when Chanelle got really upset and went to the beauty parlour, wasn't Raph the one who followed her?

Yes, he went to comfort her. He also told Sue he didn't agree with her. People expect Raph to fight? It will never happen. He gets his point across in a calm way.

He could have stood up and said "Im sorry Im not listening to this" and walked away,he didn't he chose to stay there and listen to his supposed friend being verbally attacked

Yeah spot on.

He should have done that at the start instead of trying to look like a hero by doing it when the crowd arrived.

Vanessa 11-07-2017 08:08 AM

Sue is burning bridges there. She can't talk to the others anymore, because she has alienated most of them. Raph is one of the few she hasn't dissed and is way too polite to tell her to shut up. But I wish he would, lol

joeysteele 11-07-2017 08:22 AM

Also just a point,it seems his name can't even be got right by those who dislike him.
His name is 'Raph',not Ralph.

Sorry Vanessa, but the irony of this:hehe:

Vanessa 11-07-2017 08:57 AM

I love how Chanelle and Raph are always there for each other. They're so close and always have each other's back.

Where is the irony.
For myself for instance, I rarely bother about housemate's I don't care for.
I may make the odd comment but I prefer as Vanessa does, to all out support the housemates I like, such as Ben in 2010 and Aaron in 2011.

I certainly would not be nit picking and endlessly highlighting every single point about housemate's I claim to dislike.

As I said preferring to all out support the ones I do.
That is all Vanessa and indeed I am doing here on yet another petty getting at Raph list of endless threads by those who have only one aim,to try to discredit him.

You and I once fought strongly together against that for Ben Duncan in 2010 when endless petty points were endlessly raised against him by people who really disliked him.
Both you and I confused why those who hated him had to obsessively make negative threads on him.
I still do the same as I did then, for one 7 years on,support my favourites, far less interested in those I don't care for.

She wasn't verbally attacking Chanelle though. That only started when Chanelle started shouting...

Sue was discussing how Chanelle's enhancements are defining her relationships with females. Raph actually stood up for her saying "It's because she has been judged in a negative way previously..." - then the shouting started.

When it died down, Raph went to Chanelle without the crowd around them - like a real friend would.

Littlegreen 11-07-2017 09:41 AM

I swear with Raph the people that don't like him will twist any situation to bash him.

Of course she was

Nope. It was quite an interesting conversation and had Chanelle just sat down and listened she could have explained her reasons for surgery. (which Raph was doing and sticking up for Chanelle)

Sue had previous though so I can understand why Chanelle let rip.

They are all valid points. Sick of the 'clutching at straws' comment just because a negative point is being made about someone's favoroite. The 'love in' for Raph is equally nauseating for me and others but we let you all get on with it.
It's a forum we discuss housemates positively and negatively.

Its pathetic and despite what people would claim if Raph wasn't a member on here things would have been totally different, the ones kissing his backside would be seeing the real him that none fans of his can see

Vanessa 11-07-2017 10:57 AM

People who pay attention to the show will know that Raph stood up for Chanelle. He told Sue he didn't agree with her. People expect Raph to fight in there. It's not going to happen and why should he? He gets on with everyone now that horrible Joe has left.

Absolutely right, summed up for me anyway perfectly there Vanessa.

So much bull**** in this thread, Raph listened to what Sue was saying, politely disagreed then left.

Raph isn't the type to shout at someone he disagrees with.

He then later ran after and comforted Chanelle.

Excuse me, I didn't know him as a member previously. I literally found that out about a week into the show. I wish I had known him because he seems a nice bloke... my support came from his time in the house.

:clap1::clap1::clap1: Raph is not my favourite housemate, so I am looking at this from an objective view, and what you say is the truth. Clutching at straws sums it up on far too many occasions regarding Raph.

And I think Chanelle is more than capable of fighting her own battles! She's hardly a shrinking violet!

The irony is Joey, that Vanessa defends Raph against anything whether it's right or wrong, nothing wrong with that but to call someone else out for doing the same thing is irony, simple as that. I don't dislike Raph but I do see he is not perfect all the time .I know Vanessa will not get funny over that post as we have disagreed on housemates before.it's all good.
