Selling Issy out

So so sly. He has exposed his lack of loyalty tonight.

Cal. 13-07-2017 09:29 PM

Delete him from your sig Amy!

Time 13-07-2017 09:29 PM

The fact that it was Sue he saved is even more surprising.

Brother Leon 13-07-2017 09:30 PM

Sue has backed him out hroughout too and was by far the least popular of the choices so he helped her out. It's not that deep.

DouglasS 13-07-2017 09:30 PM

I think he just thought that Andrew would save her. He thought Sue was being ganged up on a bit and didn't want her to be targetted constantly, especially after the last task.

You could see he was genuinely upset about it and regretted it afterwards, he wasn't sly.

He saved her because she is no threat to his game

Withano 13-07-2017 09:31 PM

Dick move. I cant even understand it from his perspective, and I've been trying.

Andrew and Charlotte have CLEARLY stated they're best friends and will be on the outside world so if he has an ounce of social awareness he would've known Andrew would save Charlotte. Lame excuse

Shaun 13-07-2017 09:32 PM

definitely Andrew's fault I'm afraid, he was sharing a bed with her last night. Guess she wet the bed again, can't explain his betrayal otherwise

This.

Oaker 13-07-2017 09:32 PM

It's not like he isn't friends with Sue

From what we've seen they get on well

Littlegreen 13-07-2017 09:32 PM

I can't defend that, it was a dick move.

I understand he likes to stick up for those being picked on and he likes Sue, but not at the expense of a closer friend.

I'm glad he is feeling remorse - he should!

LukeB 13-07-2017 09:32 PM

Why didn't Andrew save her?

Jordan. 13-07-2017 09:33 PM

He tried to be crafty and it flopped. Should have just been honest and voted his closest friend like everyone else did.

Because he is closer to Charlotte clearly.

Andrew and Charlotte are best friends why do Raph fans always shift the blame?

Withano 13-07-2017 09:34 PM

I always got the impression that Andrew preferred Charlotte to Issy, and I always got the impression that Raph preferred Issy to Sue. He was trying to play the game? Must have been. It doesn't make sense under any other explanation. Dick move.

This. He's a ssssneaky sssnake.

Littlegreen 13-07-2017 09:35 PM

But... he's not the only one to blame.

Andrew and Isabelle are not? they share a bed and Isabelle stuck up for him.

Vanessa 13-07-2017 09:37 PM

Why didn't Andrew save her? She's the closest to him.

He is clearly closer to Charlotte.

Don't bother it falls on deaf ears.

Raph and Charlotte are both dicks.

Raph for choosing ****ing Sue over his good friend Isy and Charlotte owed Isy for giving up meeting her family.

I'd rather Raph had saved Isabelle but he likely expected someone else would.
Also from her going in Sue has only been nice to Raph anyway.
She's had issues with some but never with Raph.

Couldn't agree more about Raph. Made no sense to me - they've supposedly been close friends since Isabelle's arrival, yet he showed no sense of loyalty at all. Whether that was thoughtlessness or something more crafty, he lost my support tonight.

Andrew is definitely close to Isabelle but is clearly best mates with Charlotte who just happens to sleep in the other room, so the bed situation isn't an indication.

And you've got a good point here about Charlotte owing Isabelle for sacrificing her visit from family earlier in the week for Charlotte's benefit.

I have said it all along...he has NO loyalty. Regardless of whether he thought Andrew would save her wouldn't you think he would do it anyway?...but Sue of all people?...because she cannot win the big prize...he isn't stupid and hopefully people will now see he will tread on anyone who gets in his way to reach the final.

Mystic Mock 13-07-2017 10:49 PM

I didn't like him doing that tbh.

I get what he was thinking, but I think that he was very disloyal there by not saving Isabelle.

Just save your ****ing friends...don't assume anything. Raph has no loyalty to Sue...he picked her because she is no challenge for the ultimate prize.

Like Amy said Withano...she is no threat to his game.

His reason imo was he knows that he is very likely to go up next week, and he wanted to face Sue knowing that she would easily lose to him.

Chanelle however made it backfire on him as her game was to put up people that would be even more controversial than she is which was a clever strategy from her.

Raph didn't play his cards right tonight, and neither did Ellie.

Deborah's path to victory is being made a whole lot easier.

Raph was her biggest hope...who else would have picked her? Chanelle was out of the loop. The sisters were always going to vote each other...and Andrew is clearly closer to Charlotte...Raphs choice was unforgiveable.
But Isabelle is too forgiving...fair play to her. Her unselfishness this week will ring alarm bells for Raph...he knows that will gain her support and Raphs regret is just an act...he will be glad she's up because she is a threat to him winning.

But Charlotte is close to Andrew and probably thought no one would save him...and she was right.
Raph knows Andrew is closer to Charlotte than Isabelle...he knew exactly what he was doing. Isabelle is a big threat to him.

Why is that a bad thing, when the aim is to get to the end and win?

Honestly this decision is the only thing Raph has done that has disappointed me this whole series, so I won't stop supporting him over it.

Why didn't Charlotte save Ellie though who is clearly Charlotte's best friend in the house?

And more interestingly why didn't Ellie save Sam who she's closest to in the house apparently?

It's not just Raph that did something wrong tonight yet he is the only one getting threads on him for the same decision that the two girls made. How does that work?

Ellie was torn between Sam or Charlotte...she isn't the brightest star. However she wore her heart on her sleeve and voted for her friend. Raphs choice was sheer game playing. You can't blame him for that..it's a game at the end of the day but his fan base is based on his 'nice guy' image and tonight proved he isn't a nice guy but a ruthless gameplayer.

BIB, no she was playing the game and decided to keep the one in that won't split votes with her over the one that could (Sam) just because you like Ellie more than Raph doesn't mean that she didn't do the exact same move.

Paula D 13-07-2017 11:18 PM

He's gonna regret this move big time.
