So I know I wasnt around for them or anything but I remember how fondly they were remembered and they looked fun and I think tibb is lacking fun a lot right now so could we have something like them back?

It's just a laugh after all and it wouldn't worry me if I was nominated for something like 'worst taste' or 'most tragic' if some are dead against it could they just not opt out?

Not you opting out of the nice award ceremonies but wanting the one that drags you back!

Yeah but I think this would be good. The forum is the most stable it's been in years (definitely since I've been on here) and everybody gets on with everybody now.

I'd love to read back and see what they were actually like but they were randomly deleted

i think the last time they were supposed to happen there was actually an opt in list, so nobody was included unless they actually signed up for it

controversy was my fav over the razzies and like that should come back too with a strict opt in policy and that is my onion on the matter

More trouble than it's worth, even with opt ins there were still members that would use it to cause drama which is a shame since most members took it in the spirit it was intended, The Razzies have provided some of the funniest times I can remember on Tibb but people will always ruin it regardless of what precautions we put in place.

Surely even though there were kick offs last time we could at least TRY and hold a Razzie's now and see how it goes? It's been years since the last one and I honestly think those who opt in would know it's just a laugh.

Those who are against it don't have to be part of it. Even if we started a club to hold it in so those against it don't have to see it happening?

Hmm. This makes me think that it could be possible to do it in a private social group...as yes, noone would be able to moan about it if they couldnt see. Not sure if admin would go for it though

I completely agree I think it sounds loads of fun, and there's so little drama on here nowadays I think it'd be worth giving it a go.

Could the same not be said for anything we do though, like even Most Loved has problems, there'll always be some drama if people want to cause it regardless of the event? (although I'm not sure how much worse it was with the razzies?), but could those people not just be given day bans or something if they cause trouble?

I opt of of ML, but never opted out of the Razzies I'm fine with being ridiculed. :hee:

ML was happening a tad too often imo so I'm glad it's had the break.!

An admin or mod could even run it if they wanted so nothing hugely offensive gets through?

I just honestly think the concept has potential. I think a lot of people here have a better sense of humour than we think?

It's an award ceremory where you vote for other members to win bad awards. It's all in good fun if you can laugh at yourself.

Winning most unappreciated award in 2015 was a personal highlight of mine. (I know it has got nothing to do with this, but anyway, i quite liked that so...)

I doubt any of us have the time along with everything else we have to do.

I'm not sure if I can win any of ML/Razzies, but it should be fun either way [emoji23]
The chat thread is already a mini Razzies anyway, so I don't think many people would take offence.
