The problem isnt she bitch about people tho
The problem was the content of it

Basically she said that Raph is part of more "superior" class
And chanelle is part of the "Lesser" class
And that they shouldnt be friends

In another way, that could also said alot about her friendship with Ellie sadly

She wasn't bitching about him Nicky, she was just saying how different they are and out of the house probably wouldn't have been friends, that's not bitching,although some people will take it as that as they don't like her and don't want others to,well I've always liked her,nothings changed. I think last night's Charlotte snippet was her worst display of her 'character' (or rather her lack of) so far. If Mandy's expectations of her daughter weren't already rock-bottom i suppose she might have been disappointed in her.:laugh:

Week 7 for a fence sitting bore is pretty standard.

Mandy is proud of her daughter, now at least Charlotte tries to be interesting instead of boring


Charlotte has made it to week 7, no shame for her leaving now, so maybe she wanted to act herself as a better housemate than she really is, and YASSSSSS I love a great villain edit :cheer2:

Who is anyone to say 2 people should not be friends just because of their backgrounds.

People click with each other for all sorts of reasons.

It's her worrying own warped observations as to who she thinks could be friends, linking that to class or how successful people are.
To me that's ridiculous and thus far, I've never been against Charlotte I even threw her some votes to save her in a previous eviction.

I hate people who play on class and infer some are inferior because of background,so are not people you'd expect to gain friendship with anyone who is supposed successful or higher status.

Friendship is friendship,it shouldn't ask questions as to wealth,status or intelligence before it's given.
Judgemental snobbery is the worst kind in my book.
That is how she came across.

She never said they shouldn't be friends Joey,she was not nasty,she was just making an observation that they make unlikely friends and PROBABLY would not have been friends outside, nothing nasty in that,even Raph himself said he likes to talk to Charlotte as they have more in common conversationally wise. I don't get what is so wrong with what she said,even I have thought it is a strange partnership,NOT that it is wrong but strange.

Well I am twat too ,as I think it is a very unusual friendship,I would never have put those two together, so Charlotte was accurate imo.

I've got friends who are hated by some of my other friends.
They have friends I don't care for.
I'd never make class,success or intelligence a requisite for Friendship.

I certainly would not talk to anyone about their friendships.

How is it odd,it's an odd house,odd scenario, 24 hours a day with the same people.
How can any friendship be odd in there,it is simply who you'd be able to feel you could rely on that could form bonds.

Unless people think they're better than others and see others as beneath them.
Who has the right to judge on what good friendships could or should be.

Any so called friend of mine telling me I shouldn't be friends with someone else, just because of class,intelligence or success,well they wouldn't remain a friend for much longer.

I am not saying their friendship is wrong and neither did Charlotte,I said it was unusual as Raph has already said what he does and doesn't like to talk about and Chanelle does not fill that criteria, its nothing to do with class imo,just an observation that it's an unlikely pairing,plus she never said Raph SHOULDN'T be friends with Chanelle , nothing wrong at all in them being friends,but it probably only happened by chance in the house,we all have different types of friends nothing wrong with that either, and nothing wrong with someone saying we have unlikely friends.

I have thought exactly that from the start: Chanelle and Raph's 'friendship' is not natural, it's purely tactical. They use each other.

All Charlotte did was point out the obvious!

Raph uses Chanelle for two reasons:

1. She is the alpha of the house.
2. She is a thorn cottage 'outsider'. BB expert Raph knows the outside group tend to do better, so he was ALWAYS going to put himself with the outsiders - WHOEVER they were.

Chanelle uses Raph for two reasons:

1. He strokes her massive ego, empowering her.
2. He is very good at extracting the gossip from the house, which he relays to her, like a drone bee bringing pollen back to the queen.

Charlotte is right: In real life they would not be friends. Even on a different BB with different people - Chanelle could easily be in the 'cool kids' crowd. In which case Raph would never be friends with her then.

I wonder if Chanelle had slept in Rose Cottage from the start - would her and Raph even be friends at all? They were thrown together by chance into Thorn Cottage, not by choice. I think it's all about convenience and Raph and her using each other. They are both manipulative in subtle, sly ways. As 'friends' they are TOTALLY mismatched.

For example: One thing we all know Raph dislikes is crude, derogatory language. He complained to Thorn Cottage when Lotan used the term 'bitch' in a joke for example. Yet Chanelle is the QUEEN of crude, derogatory language! More than anyone in there! Raph IGNORES in Chanelle ALL the traits he dislikes in others. This HAS to be tactical.

I can't stop thinking of Raph's BOTS audition where he said he uses his friendly smile to manipulate people and likes nothing more than 'crushing the souls of the popular people'.

yep she has been too honest, in her opinion, and sometimes honesty isn't the best tactical thing in a game show like BB

That's exactly how she came across no.matter how hard or what fiction is used to dress it up as.

Oh I wasnt really thinking of that part, but she did say it to be cruel.. there are nice ways to say words to that effect, and she didnt do that.
It was more standing behind Sue, and then loudly claiming that she done it to be nice and because 'imagine if nobody stood behind your mother' - her pretending she was doing some sort of good deed made her look like a dick imo, especially if she then says immediately afterwards 'hey guys, acknowledge my good deed, now Sue and her family wont be sad' umm thats gonna make the highlights, now theyre goona be sadder!
But yeh, theyre an unlikely friendship! Charlotte pointing that out in the way she did made her seem like a cruel bitch. She could have easily said that in a nice way, but chose not to.

I can't wait for her to get evicted.

I think Raph gets a raw deal at times, as I did for Charlotte when she could not get featured in the highlights more.
