Worst Production Decision of 2017
What is the worst production decision of Big Brother 2017?
From CBB19, BB18 and CBB20, what was the worst decision that production made that has ruined the show for you? - Too many backdoor evictions - Too many housemates in CBB19 and BB18 - Failed promise of 'United Kingdom of Big Brother' - Only 2 rounds of nominations in CBB20 - Bad shopping tasks that require no skill - 4 person final for BB18 and Andrew's pointless stay until the final day - Flash votes in CBB19 and CBB20 - Bad casting, BB18's UK of BB being reality stars - Wasting money on pointless things, The Vault, - Overall bad planning, CBB20 Shaun given a bad launch night task, - Less Outside Contact |
the ****e 'tasks'

The decision to (pretty much) backdoor evict half the cast in BB18 (and have 22 housemates in a 54 day series to an extent)
|
CBB19 would have to be the housemates
Putting in someone like Ray J only to realise a few days later they'd ****ed up when they could've just had people like Kim from the get go. BB18 would have to be having 22 housemates in a 54 day series CBB20 hasn't been bad but I'd say the lack of shopping tasks/continuous immunity meddling |
The fact there was a nomination twist like every week that favoured getting rid of personalities over getting rid of dead weight
Also the tasks were meh Cbb19 had a few good ones ig The only good bb18 tasks I can remember was the political debate one and the personaility label one and they weren't even good tasks it was just the people in the task that made them hilarious Cbb20 had the criminal task which was great but all the others sucked |

The over-production in the last few days of BB18. They could've just done a Chanelle & Hannah fake eviction, make them nominate, evict Charlotte backdoor halfway through the week, open the VTW, evict 2 and boom you have your 6 finalists.
Instead they straight evicted Chanelle and Ellie, did a NON-LIVE fake HOUSEMATE VOTE eviction of Tom and Hannah, a backdoor eviction of Charlotte, and then a DOUBLE backdoor eviction in a VTW despite the fact that we already had 6 finalists |

Opening the door for Sukhvinder
They should've kept that shut until she went back down! |
I'd say the only two poor production decisions in CBB20 have been the (lack of) shopping tasks and the flash vote last week.
|
The ridiculous amount of backdoor evictions.

2. I guess the 4 person final was to keep up with Love Island but why? |

Ejecting Lotan imo. He was scum but he kept the divide strong
|
The Hunt being the most pointless noms twist ever and being the end of Suemone

I guess that comes down to the amount of irregular evictions there were. Mandy was evicted by Tom, Imran's eviction was tainted (made x100 better really and it's not production's fault but still worth mentioning) with Sukhvinder walking, Savannah being evicted despite receiving no nominations (why she had the 2nd most votes behind Issy originally over Tom I'll never know), Andrew walking, 2 ejectees, 4 backdoor evictions, Sam being evicted by Andrew, Sue being evicted by housemates... The only housemates to receive a regular eviction were the final 4, Joe, Rebecca, Chanelle and Ellie (and their eviction night had a few twists anyway), and I guess Savannah (though her result was clearly manipulated in favour of Issy). That's 9 housemates out of 22. Obviously the walkers (and I guess ejectees?) couldn't be helped, but even with them considered that's 9/18 evictions being "regular". A tad ridiculous when that's only half oh and 2, god knows. Maybe they thought "hey they've complained that 5th and 6th leave together for years (why they evict them separately/together different years will forever confuse me) and LI is very popular and had a 4 person finale so why don't we do the same?" |

The non-public vote eviction of Austin when the public had literally just paid to vote to save him. He probably got like, the 2nd most votes as well.
|
The whole noms process being tampered with too many times. Especially this series with not enough straight-up Diary Room noms plus 2 public poles influencing the noms process. The vote for best cheer dance was effectively a 'who do you want to give immunity to' poll, as was the poll to pick the killers.
|
Oh and the removal of Ray J as they would have probably been able to book big names for future series because of their association with him.
