Closest weekend to the 1st of December for me :hee:

1st of Dec is a Friday this year :hee: I'd probably put mine up then too only we've loads on that weekend

Ours will go up the 3rd then, cos my hen night is the 2nd so wont be in all day/night

Bit ambitious to think you'll be energetic enough to put up the decorations the day after your hen :laugh:

True but the plan then is to lay on the couch and give Stuart instructions :laugh:

as its a Friday we are doing that night with Christmas songs and bevvy

I've always wondered this but do you not find that to be a waste of time? Do you take it back down on boxing day? genuinely curious

I've got mine up two weeks ago!

Ours always go up the last weekend before the 1st December (so that they're all finished by then), depending on how the dates fall that can either be a few days before or a whole week.

It's a Friday this year so the plan was to put them up this weekend but then I thought since we're going away a week before Christmas why don't we move it back a weekend so we don't miss out :laugh: my brothers weren't keen so the compromise is now whatever day these new app-controlled tree lights that I've ordered arrive, it'll probably end up being this weekend after all :fist:

I usually take them down 2nd of Jan

Ah right I see, no I've seen people say they put it up xmas eve and take it back down boxing day I always thought that would be pretty pointless tbh

Not until a 2-4 days before Christmas.

I wonder if TL has murdered LT and put him under the patio and now masquerades as him online :think: it's the perfect crime :laugh:

we Always decorate our house 1st december, or in this years case 2nd december on a Saturday :hee:

Been out around the town with hubby today, and it's starting to look a bit like xmas as the song goes.
We have ordered a new tree (small one), think it arrives 1st week in December so that's when we will decorate.
The outdoor tree lights will be going up within the week...in time for my birthday.:cheer2:

Usually somewhere between November 25th and December 1st for the living room, this year it'll be December 3rd though but I've decorated my bedroom today if that counts.

fully decorated inside with lights on tree outside and flashing small trees up the garden path. 2 trees upstairs and bathrooms fully decorated

Decorated bathrooms ...what :laugh: I put a festive towel in the downstairs toilet and that's it :hee:...I think you have lost your marbles, i preferred you when you were normal :smug:

It is normal to have replaced all crockery and cups and glasses with Christmas decorated ones
