Would you judge a person badly from this list?
 

If you met a person say at work who was new, in the kitchen say, and that person said (see list) would you judge them badly for that?

the dog one, and before anyone has a moan about immigrants I am one myself but put the bloody services in place so you don't have to wait 2 weeks for a doctors apt, or fight for a school place or a dental appointment or stand nose to nose with someone on the train even though you have paid top price for it.:nono:

I wouldn't judge people for not liking dogs, my mom isn't a fan because she got bitten when she was younger so that's a reasonable reason why imo. My daughter doesn't like dogs or any animals tbh, I mean she doesn't go around kicking them or anything :laugh: but she has zero interest in them

there is a difference between not liking and despising though. I understand people are afraid of dogs, I am afraid of mice but I don't despise them :hmph:

also not being patronising I was in Ireland about 4 years ago around Christmas time and needed to see the doctor, I rang up the day before Christmas Eve, got an appt the same day, sat in the waiting room on my own, then one man came in and he would come back as he didn't want to wait...:laugh: I really don't think you know how bad it is here in London anyway...if I rang the day before Christmas Eve I would be given an appt in mid January...

I wouldn't judge someone badly on one statement however.

If they said something like all dogs should be put down that would be worse.

However I've come across people who don't like dogs having been bitten as a child.
That's fairly understandable.

The other listed content is just opinions anyone may have,unless they would harm others doesn't mean they should be judged badly.

I'd be a little wary too though of the immigrant comment too,again not judging badly for it.
More hoping to get a chance to enlighten anyone as to such a seemingly closed opinion.

If someone hates dogs I automatically think they must be evil

The immigrants one for obvious reasons and the phone one too bc it's a form of contact/safety. The others are all just opinions that don't really bother me.

Why would you automatically assume it's a closed opinion, it might be an opinion borne out of frustration at services stretched to breaking point rather than anything else, maybe we should be asking why so many people can enter the country and in the main pay taxes but services are not increased to cope rather then assuming anyone having to struggle with stretched services including immigrants have closed minds

The statement in the poll we are asked to base our response on, just about clearly presents a definite held view from whoever may say it.

I do also anyway state clearly in my response, of it being a 'seemingly' closed minded statement.
Never stating it 'certainly' was one.

I can kind of get where both you and Joeysteele are coming from.

It would depend on the reason as to why the person had an issue with the Immigrants for me then to judge if they was what I would deem a good or a bad person, if they just think that we are overpopulated and our resources are being overstretched then I would agree with the person, if it's however out of pure ignorance as to why the person wouldn't want Immigrants coming into the country then I would take an issue with the person.
