So my second year of university is now complete, all of my exams have been sat which means I now need to... apply for student finance, apply for the student travel grant, buy travel insurance, apply for my visa, find myself a room to live in, book my flights... three months to go. :)

RichardG 24-05-2018 04:59 PM

I'm heading into Manchester tomorrow to buy some of Primark's finest clothes to impress the Koreans. :flutter: One week!

My brother studied abroad in Seoul for a year also :).

He had one of the best years of his life and also met his wife there [who was also studying abroad at the time]. I hope you have an amazing time.

RichardG 13-08-2018 02:40 PM

thanks everyone

conclusions so far: the city is massive, all the buildings are massive, all the neon lights are super cool, it's all very glamorous. but dear lord it fooking stinks. like, this horrid mixture of petrol, gas, smoke, and fire, but it's so strong that it almost transcends being just a smell and you can actually feel it. oh, and just because the green man is on doesn't mean the cars and motorbikes will stop, or even slow down. that's another thing i've noticed.
