Would you say this series has been a bit of a flop?

There hasn't been any real arguments, or conflict. Or massive disagreements.

Once India was out, it's been a pretty sedate place.

Dull housemates like Jess, Maggie, Ginuwine, Ashley, Shane L and even Malika haven't earned their bucks in my view.

The ongoing showmances. The boring 'is he or isn't he gay?' Andrew thing. The constant dirty talk from Shane J, quite frankly now very boring.

It's just the same old, same old...

Nicky91 24-01-2018 12:39 PM

nope not a flop for me, my sweetie Ashley going to the final :D

Cal. 24-01-2018 12:42 PM

They planned on there being clashes but due to the type of celebrities they've gotten, they just haven't happened. Even the reality stars have been mild ones: Jess, Ashley, Jonny, Malika, Andrew and Shane J aren't exactly known for being crazy and extreme.

Ashley is the kween of calmth and that kween is hopefully back now

Cal. 24-01-2018 12:43 PM

This series would have been a lot better if Natalie Nunn, Drita D'Avanzo and Melissa Reeves had gone in on launch night over Malika, Jess and Ashley. I do like Jess and Ashley though.

Lilac hills 24-01-2018 12:45 PM

It’s interesting but not as exciting or conventionally entertaining as like let’s say Kim woodburn vs the house

Is Ashley a reality star? What is she even from I thought she was a social media personality

Made In Chelsea ;) but she does work as a Radio DJ, for Hoxton Radio

Yes very much so, no dramas ,2 fake showman's ... not riveting tv at all, will go down in CBB history as being a boring flop

not a flop at all - enjoyed the different style of CBB instead of the GOGOGO controversial all the time.

I've loved more than any series in a longtime

She was on Made in Chelsea a good five years ago now. I really don't know why they got her they must have just plucked her name out of thin air. Jess was also a strange casting considering she last appeared on Ex on the Beach 18 months ago and isn't really a note worthy cast member from the show.

smudgie 24-01-2018 12:51 PM

Best series in ages.
More like a proper BB rather than some of the trash so called reality shows are churning out these days.

No I don't this this is the case Rachel thanked the producers for coming through on their promise that this would be a true social experiment rather than manufactured reality

I haven't missed a show

montblanc 24-01-2018 12:52 PM

i think a lot of people on this forum were bigging it up too early on because i remember on like the second highlights episode everyone was calling it one of the best series ever and i was so confused on where people were getting that from :joker: it's been a little disappointing but i never expected it to be a highly entertaining series

MTVN 24-01-2018 12:55 PM

I've really enjoyed it but it's gonna go down as a big ratings glop sadly

GiRTh 24-01-2018 12:56 PM

Its petering out a little for me, but still the best for ages. I haven't liked some of the twists allowing certain Hm's to escape nomination/eviction.

Yeah, that's my only complaint really, the nomination twists. I'd like a series where they just do normal nominations all the time

Tom4784 24-01-2018 01:02 PM

Conflict is an cheap way to judge how good a season has been. This series has started off great but has lost it's shine a bit. It's still better than most C5 seasons though.

Ashley. 24-01-2018 01:05 PM

I hate that they got rid of the shopping tasks. Always used to look forward to them.

jaxie 24-01-2018 01:09 PM

I have enjoyed it, for me best series for years.

chris.g 24-01-2018 01:10 PM

One of the best in a long time - no forced conflict every single night, it's been nice to watch people interact and not just screaming and shouting at each other all the time. It also feels better produced this year.

Vicky. 24-01-2018 01:10 PM

No, I have really enjoyed it and its been quite refreshing to have a series that does not revolve around getting pissed and shouty every day

Agree. Old school no contrived twists.

We've only had one normal set of nominations this whole series, it's annoying and the people up aren't a proper reflection of what the whole house want

Yeah. The reason why I'd like normal nominations is so that the people sitting there on finale night are the ones that have done something right to be there.

Paula D 24-01-2018 01:25 PM

Every year people start this crap. Jesus guys, if you don't like BB, don't watch it.

The moaning drives me mad.

And no, hasn't been a flop.

Fully in agreement on that.

I've really enjoyed watching all through. I think the mix of housemates have been really good too.

besides that though a thing they got very right is total lack of contact with the outside world, wish they'd stick with that for the civilian series

No its one of my favourites ever. I always prefer Civvy bb but I really like this celeb bb

reece(: 24-01-2018 03:04 PM

Dull since India left.

Yes I picked that up too....I don't think some of the women would have gone on it otherwise..

I have enjoyed it though.

I cant get my head around cute angelic Jess having been on ex on the beach...what was she like on there?

Jay. 24-01-2018 03:12 PM

this is actually the first series i've watched for 3 years lol and i've actually really enjoyed it

Jay. 24-01-2018 03:13 PM

less twists would have been great but tbh i'm mostly loving it for the deep conversations and it's been pretty funny so yeah

One of the nicest cast members ever

She also took on Bear and Jordan Davies (CBB18 and CBB20) when they were being nasty to her and Chloe Goodman (CBB15)

Gstar 24-01-2018 03:20 PM

This should of been a summer CBB

I was hoping for normal noms this week with it being a treble, how its going to work out with only half the hm8s voting I dont know, we could lose nearly all of one side of the housemates
