Why Ann doesn't like Meghan Markle? Because of her background? What makes Ann better than Meghan Markle?

Meghan Markle is a good role model, unlike Ann who is openly against gay and women's rights.

She doesn't think she is suitable royal material. I have never heard her say she doesn't like her as a person. There is a big difference.

Ann called Meghan trouble because of her background, she insinuated because she's black. People are just afraid to say it.

i know enough about ann from before the show to logically conclude she is a bigoted old fool, i'd never heard of shane before launch night.

It could mean a number of things ,Meghan is a modern actress from across the pond .
She's more outgoing ,would she be able to handle the royal customs & traditional ways .

Only time will tell how Meghan fits into the royal family. So far she seems to be fitting in well though.

To be fair, Ann isn’t marrying into the Royal family.
Nothing to do with her thinking she is better than Meghan.
She isn’t against women’s rights either, she is against abortion because believes in the baby’s rights, mainly I suspect down to her religion.

Thanks Kazanne I forgot about the divorce bit , tbh though the royal family needed to move into the 21st century .

And the royal family have loads of secrets and plenty of them have had marriage issues .

But I think there's other reasons for Ann being unsure about her . I think it might be the kiss and tell thing as well as her outgoing personality and that she's a modern girl from across the pond.

The same people calling Ann racist are the same ones calling her homophobic:joker: .

I think if it was because she's American, she'd just say that. So we're left with the other "issues" Ann might have with her background. She's biracial, an actor, divorced, an activist (as is Harry), and a commoner.
