So perched for this era

Ashley. 20-02-2018 07:23 PM

I like it, but the style looks familiar?

Greg! 20-02-2018 07:24 PM

Morgan. 20-02-2018 07:24 PM

The most excited I've been for Doctor Who since the Matt Smith series where the episodes had blockbuster style posters (Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, Angels Take Manhattan etc)

Oaker 20-02-2018 07:25 PM

It reminds me of Merlin  I do like it though

Firewire 20-02-2018 07:25 PM

Nice visuals

Jay. 20-02-2018 07:56 PM

kinda like doctor strange teas?

Lostie! 20-02-2018 07:58 PM

Very nice

Wizard. 20-02-2018 07:58 PM

I love Doctor Wiio

Scarlett. 20-02-2018 08:05 PM

It looks brilliant!

I hear Murray Gold will no longer be composing, this seems like an even bigger "reboot" than the Matt Smith years

AProducer'sWetDream 20-02-2018 08:56 PM

I cannot wait for this new era. So much anxiety and excitement as this is probably the biggest change for the show since 2005, but I have faith.

Marsh. 20-02-2018 08:58 PM

Is that a small hint at the style the theme music will be in? Echoey?

Really looking forward to a complete refresh of the show

Rob! 20-02-2018 10:37 PM

Same. I cannot wait to be able to understand the plots again :flutter:

Oliver_W 21-02-2018 06:46 AM

It kind of looks like the Merlin logo, but it's okay.

Oh yeah same recently it's completely gone over my head and hasn't made sense at all, not to mention I was never a fan of Peter until near the end and the fact they got rid of Clara was a tragedy :bawling:

I agree with everything here.

Jarrod 21-02-2018 06:21 PM

Without a background, it looks a bit odd.

Just noticed that with the way the H slashes through the O makes it look like the female sex symbol of O+

On a white background I guess it would be just a flat black colour.

Like on a letterhead or whatever.

Gradients like that always look odd on white.

Unless you mean the shape?

It's a shame. He came into his own in his last series after the Clara Show ended. :(

Rob! 28-02-2018 12:33 AM

I'm not going to pretend the history ones are my favourite.

Rob! 28-02-2018 12:35 AM

I don't even care though, I honestly am so excited for this.

So Chibnall has said there will be many Female writers i just hope it is for the right reason and not just diversity

user104658 13-03-2018 07:26 PM

So I'm down in London at the moment, came down at the weekend and heading home tomorrow. Thought I might spot a celebrity while I'm here! But nothing... UNTIL TODAY! We had just come off the underground at Covent Gardens, and right there, large as life almost bumping into me... Was Mickey! Yes! Mickey Smith himself! :omgno: Ultimate celebrity encounter confirmed.

Greg! 13-03-2018 07:34 PM

Explain what you means by "right reasons"?

By this logic you suggest female writers are inferior

Yes because women are only hired for diversity. Same as the non white actors. They just tick boxes, they don't have talent.

I doubt he'd do it just for diversity. I think women have a lot of talent when it comes to writing. Not to be bias... I know a lot of brilliant male writers too.

Ashley. 13-03-2018 07:52 PM

Not personally, of course. I should be so lucky. :elephant:

No I think that writer should be based on the script they write and not there gender which can be seen as being diverse.

I think it has to be the 12 or so best writer and the story they wrote who should be involved whether male or female.
