Which Fight Night out of BB9 and BB18 was more shocking
 

So the BB5 fight night is easily the biggest, with actual physical vioence occuring, but out of BB9's and BB18's which actually resembled a fight night more?

BB9 that was mental.

18 was so random and shocking

Haven't seen 9 (or 5) but BB18 felt like a pretty legit fight night with people going crazy :joker:

BB9 was probably more shocking as people saw it live, we all knew BB18 was coming before the hl show. 18 was still better though.

BB18 purely because with the vote to save method they initially went for, it was pretty much a guarantee Lotan would be a prominent housemate for the series and seemed like the next villain we were getting but then it swiftly was cut short by this fight night, even though his feud with Isabelle seemed like it had only just begun.

BB9's is much better for the build-up alone.

BB9. BB18's was an immensely entertaining episode of television but lacked the atmosphere of BB9's due to the lack of things like waking up to read about how the live feed had been cut overnight due to some kickoff and the mystery surrounding what exactly went down. It felt more raw.

Not to mention someone being spat at in the face is way more shocking than anything that happened in BB18's.

That's got nothing to do with how shocking it was though

What I just said has everything to do with it being shocking :skull: Someone who you thought would be a huge character of their series suddenly completely exploding on everyone and causing the house to erupt. It would be like if Marc or Helen did something that caused their whole housemates to frantically drift into chaos all of a sudden unexpectedly. Compare this to Dennis for example who wasn't nearly as prominent to his series at the time as Lotan was.

But it's got nothing to do with the actual fight.

Deborah morphing into a field runner shocked me the most.

The actual BB9 fight was rubbish, all that happened was Darnell square up to Dale

And Dennis spat at Mo. Arguably worse than anything we saw in BB5's fight

It's the build-up to it and the atmosphere, both of which felt more effective

You mean other than someone being spat at (which is assault)? You asked which was more shocking, not more fun to watch.

BB9, but I think it could partly be down to BB being less able to shock nowadays because we've seen it all, it just doesn't really have the same impact when things kick off.

Emma from BB5 was iconic

BB18 as the storyline surrounding before and after it were amazing.

Though BB5 is the original and the best.

BB9 was shocking too, the spitting was awful.

Big Brother 9 for me has to be most shocking and il explain why!

With 18 there were was so much tension building with the divide between Rose-Cottage and Thorn-Cottage that the idea of a fight breaking out would not have surprised me. Tensions were really brewing in there and you could tell even the night before Lotan had broken out via the fire exit and there was even a fight that involved Lotan and Chanelle and many others so it in retrospect was something that was going to eventually happen imo.

With BB9 although there were factions forming like the whisper club, there was hardly any build-up imo. It was just Rex simply smudging Jennifer's painting and then it all escalated causing Dennis to spit in Mohamed's face pretty much then solidifying the divide between the whisper club and b-block.

So Spit-Gate most shocking for me!

18 was way better

You can't beat the original and the best.

BB5 aside, I would go for BB18 because they really went bonkers and the build up to it was insane. The actual episode was shocking, with people going from quiet to crazy in a matter of seconds. And to top it all, it really started because Queen Isabelle triggered tf out of Logan, and she's an idol thanks to that move. Truth hurts I guess.
And her sitting around and unbothered while everyone else is going bananas is amazing.
