|
The prediction thread had a huge impact on the odds.

I love being a long shot :flutter:
Also... absolutely laughing at Tom and I tied for 50th in odds ranking. It's poetic somehow |
Btw what is the truth:
Niamh 6.92 - 148/25 Niamh 375.00 - 374/1 Time to bet on Niamh 375.00 to try to take advantage of what I assume is a CaldBet error :hehe: |
Betting on T* & Mokka as well as the home run long shots. :clap1:
To much money coming to the me  |
What does the number mean after our names?.... How much money we are worth?
We don't do much gambling here :laugh: |

So $100 for 5.80 odds would be a $580 win I believe |

Dezzy was left out. Now back in the list. Faulty selection "Niamh 375.00 - 374/1" removed.
Betting cache cleared, faulty bets voided and those bets are compensated ie: bets returned. Wager relaunched. Sorry for the inconvenience. |
Livia is worth a bet

Jersey an Each-way certainty?
:fan: |
I would bet on Sullen and Greg with those odds, but actually I think the list is really accurate-looking.
|
I'm liking my odds of 10,000/1 :clap1:
|
i’m satisfied with 25th place :hee:

Thanks for doing these Cald. They mean absolutely nothing to me as I have no clue on betting if it's not 10/1 or something equally easy
|
If this was a real 'Bookies' and these were real 'Odds' being offered then I would lump on Shaun, Livia and Ross at those odds.
|
LukeB is worth a punt

They are in order :suspect:

I sort of don't understand odds??

Cald would give you £375 back for my win, (ie, im not very likely to win) and £5.80 back for RileyH’s win (he is the most likely to win, Cald doesnt want to pay out much money at all for his win, otherwise, as a bookie, he’d be broke) - the numbers after the name are basically the multiplier per pound, the lower they are, the more likely they are to win The fraction after the number is just an equation used to work out the multiplier. You can ignore that, it doesnt say anything different |
Maths teacher Jason is SHAKING

id imagine you have a fair idea what that means :hehe: |
I have no idea what you mean

Marc is g*y so he doesn't know what you're on about

In terms of creating odds you really want to stick to the traditional fractional odds if you're going to use them at all, which are, starting from evens (deep breath); 1/1 11/10 6/5 5/4 11/8 6/4 13/8 7/4 9/5 15/8 2/1 85/40 11/5 9/4 12/5 5/2 13/5 11/4 3/1 10/3 (aka 100/30) 7/2 4/1 9/2 5/1 11/2 6/1 13/2 7/1 15/2, 8/1 17/2 9/1, 10/1, 11/1, 12/1 14/1, 15/1, 16/1 18/1 20/1 25/1 33/1 40/1 50/1 66/1 100/1 125/1 and then upwards in increments of 25 (150/1, 175/1, etc etc) Honourable mention for 23/20 which is seeing a bit of use lately, especially in sports betting. ...but yeah, decimal odds are "easier" and non-traditional fractional odds are pretty meaningless in betting terms. |
