I strongly felt for some reason that this would happen, so I'm not all that surprised. It also changes the way I've been interacting with TiBB as both a reader and a poster, when there's no longer the expectation of that annual ritual... I don't really trust the reports either.

I'm sad to say that 2-3 months ago I remember one user claiming "so we're expecting the eye reveal in 2 weeks". Sadly not. Both twitters are dead since Late May/Early June

Why would they release info on a series that isn't starting until another 8ish weeks? I'd expect news in around 4 weeks time, no earlier. They don't even promote BGT or X Factor this far in advance.

Yes. The XF twitter and YouTube have been uploading 'best of' videos recently, and have been making funny videos for twitter etc. BB is literally dead

i can't wait for it to return tbh. i didn't realise the forum's would be soo dead during off season

Love Island was promoted for a good 8 weeks though and look how that turned out for ITV2.

Remember how they got a lot of ex-Housemates together for the (supposed) last ever series of Big Brother for a lowkey iconic ad back in 2010

8 years later and this is possibly the last series of BBUK (at least for like. a few years) and the only promo we'll get is 2 days before, with a 30 second advert of Rylan screaming "HIT IT MARCUS" as he struts in high heels to BB's wake.

The show isn't launching until August... In a typical series we don't even know the launch date until a week or two prior... How is the lack of news or info "depressing"? Seems to me you're just whining because you don't want to wait...
