There's more to it than just what it says in the dry welcome pack as part of the show (i.e. like referring to it as a house when it's basically just a TV studio). It's a legal signed contract, an actual 750K grand deal, signed, negotiated and everything. There are ways to get out of the contract, but it's nowhere like "oh, you don't want to do it 10 hours before we start, bummer! ok by then xx". It's a business.

My understanding was that she was only going to be on the show for a week anyway, so it was always destined to be a big fail to base the theme of the show on her. The whole thing is just pure trash
