also back is Robinson: Island Talk, our side show which was introduced last year, hosted by a new talented presenter Luuk Ikink, who has various guests, mostly former survivor participants and winners

i will keep everyone on here up to date about this survivor series, every Friday morning i guess, week by week


the Island is located near the phillipines just like the last 5 years now

Steven Brunswijk is a dutch stand up comedian who goes by the stage name Braboneger

he did the big escape also this year, which was a game show about escape rooms and solving puzzles, he was first out there but i can see him doing quite well on survivor i think

Aisha Echteld is a rapper/singer who has the stage name I Am Aisha

i didn't know her at first, but i think she might be a big character on this show at least i hope so :love: cause she looks fab

episode 1: so we started with all of the 3 teams arriving on the Island, and also introducing every one of the contestants to us

the challenge was, a team captain challenge, every team had to choose a captain (who also is in power of a golden coin which he/she can use until the merge)

Camp South: Tony Junior is team captain

Camp North: Donny Roelvink is team captain

Camp Unknowns: Army Sergeant Gwenda is team captain

they played the task of the four elements (earth, fire, wind, water) Donny was the fastest to light the fire on the survivor totem and won immunity for his team, Tony Junior became 2nd, and the sergeant Gwenda became 3rd

in camp north, they had a discussion about who to evict, Aisha said Corry shouldn't be evicted since she could walk anyway, but thinking more strategically and getting rid of Jody possibly whenever they should face elimination

camp south, there was a heated discussion about who should be the leader, already a argument then in episode 1, i suspect this will come into discussion again when they face elimination at some point :think:

camp unknowns, they were the ones who already made their living area on the Island, and sleeping area

only farmer Jan pointed out some of the vegetables weren't edible, but poisonous so he had removed those particular vegetables from the dinner


overall a good first episode :clap1:

episode 1's ratings start with 1.2 million


quite nice to begin with i think, and Corry Konings is a fan fave already

episode 2 hl's:

challenge was between team unknowns and team north, they had a obstacle course to go through and put a pole on a hook at the finish line and then climb in the pole with all of the team members to win immunity

team unknowns won the challenge, so it meant team north was sent to the first elimination trial

it was between Johnny Kraaijkamp Jr and Toine van Peperstraten who had to leave, and it was Toine who left with 6-1


in team south, they lost the fire making equipment leading to some drama for I am Aisha and Josylvio who really couldn't handle the thought of no fire or warm foods

Corry had built a ladder for her campmates to put against palm trees which makes it easier to grab Coconuts or Bananas which are too high to grab without a ladder

she even did sing a couple of her songs just for fun and has her own nickname now Corry Kings :dance2:


my personal top 3 faves are: Corry, Gregory, Braboneger :love:

so it was another captains duel, Gwenda of team unknowns won that, so team north and team south had face each other in the team challenge

and it was team south (who left Corry out, cause they were with 1 campmate too many) who won immunity, Corry had the honour still to carry the immunity totem :cheer:

team north was in elimination trial again, and Famke was eliminated 5-1, and again the oldest of their team Johnny Kraaijkamp avoiding elimination because of his good character to raise spirits in the camp, while Famke was too quiet and sneaky

i actually wanted Famke already out last week instead of Toine tbh :idc:


this survivor series is getting really interesting and exciting now :love:

episode 4 tonight :cheer: gonna be an exciting ep seen from last weeks teaser, the teams will be selected again, and it will be 7 vs 7, so 3 campmates will move to another sort of Island called Devil's Island

episode 4: well Tony won the first challenge and got to choose his own dream team of 6 other campmates, eventually everyone except Corry, Nienke, Johnny were chosen, they will move to devil's Island, where one of them will be fighting for a place in the final themselves

camp north faced off against camp unknowns and it was camp unknowns who won challenge again

Donny was eliminated in the trial, and after that captain Tony also gave up, so camp north now lost 2 strong players

episode 5: it was yet another competition, first it was devil's Island, and the winner was Nienke there she reinforced camp north against camp unknowns, while corry and johnny remain on devil's Island for the one last place back in the competition

main team challenge was finally won by camp north, meaning camp unknowns had to go to elimination for the first time, and there it was captain Gwenda who was tricked into not using her immunity coin and she was eliminated with a majority of 4 votes


so now teams are even again, 6 vs 6, with the last team challenge before the merge coming

episode 6, this will be the last team challenge before the merge :dance: and also the challenge between Corry & Johnny for one place in the merge

so :think: i can imagine either Corry & Johnny going far in the remainder of the competition given that they are likely to be voting strategically for the strongest players then, and both of them are considered the weakest

so excited for tonight :cheer:

episode 6: it was a fun episode :dance2: Corry & Johnny had caught a crab, and made a sort of crab risotto, and banana fries with batter dumplings

then they had to face off, and eventually Corry was eliminated :sad:


Camp North and Camp Unknowns had a last team challenge before the merge, it was camp north who won immunity again second time in a row, sending the unknowns to elimination night again

at elimination night it was Sandra who was eliminated in a 4-2 majority of the vote


they were at after talk for last interviews with former contestant model Jessie Jazz Vuijk


cannot wait now for next week :dance:

tonight the battle for the merge, whoever finished last in the challenge has to duel with Johnny for the last place in the merge

episode 7: the merge, Robin won the challenge and is sent to finalist Island, but must defend his place there against other upcoming challenge winners in so called duels, the one who loses that will return to the others and elimination task where he/she is still immune that round but is required to vote in

Nienke was last place of the challenge so she couldn't be at the merge dinner, but had to face off against Johnny for the last spot in the merge

Nienke won that duel, but only barely


so now most have extra votes (1 with 4 extra votes, 3 with 3 extra votes, 3 with 2 extra votes, 3 with 1 extra vote)


cannot wait for next week :)

tonight, first challenge after the merge :dance:

episode 8: post merge, so Robin already on finalist Island didn't have to take part in the challenge

they had to go through an obstacle course, and then do a puzzle

Dominique was first to complete this and won immunity, and spent the evening with Robin on finalist Island, but had to go back to the others for elimination to vote


it was Ozgur who had distanced himself too much from the other campmates and was eliminated with a majority of 9 votes, 2 for Gregory (1 for becoming last in challenge, 1 from dominique) and 1 for Braboneger by Ozgur himself


it is a really good series so far :clap1:

tonight episode 9 :dance2:

this was from last week's episode, poor Jody :sad: he really misses his family, especially his pregnant wife

episode 9: challenge was domino day style, with domino blocks and that was won by Loiza, she won immunity and stays on finalist Island now with Robin and has to defend that place there

Jody quit the game, after having been homesick again :(

episode 10: the challenge was won by Braboneger :eek: they had to use a slingshot to destroy 3 cans with liquid inside, GO Steven :dance2: he had to face off against either Loiza or Robin for the challenge on finalist Island, he chose for strategic reasons to battle against Robin, he won and Robin was sent to the elimination round (where he had immunity still) Braboneger told him to vote many times on Stijn, cause their friend Dominique could otherwise get eliminated, he did do that and Stijn was eliminated with 13 votes to 6

episode 11: first of all the challenge, it was a sort of balance challenge, but then parcour style, so with all different sorts of balance obstacles for them to move on, Dominique won immunity and headed over to finalist Island, where she challenged Loiza, they had to do the infamous eating challenge ''pig brains, rat heads, cow eyes, worms'' Dominique won that, and Loiza was sent back to the camp


at elimination it was Nienke who got eliminated by the unknowns and Gregory

episode 12 tonight :dance2:

OMG we had our best episode yet last night

first of all Gregory won team challenge :clap2: he faced Steven or Braboneger on finalist Island, Braboneger lost on purpose cause he has 6 votes, ''backstabber'' he is he went on to ''hand out some knives to people'' he teamed up with Loiza saving her and evicting Robin, the strongest player in the game and he didn't see it coming

episode 13: last challenge before the semi final, which was won by Laurie and at the finalist Island she challenged Gregory for a duel, they had to catch as many bamboo rods as possible, they got distracted by messages from home, Gregory catched nearly all of them, and Laurie dropped all of them due to the lack of focus

at tribal council Loiza was eliminated with 4 votes at the last tribal council of the year
