trailer looks quite good

Nicky91 07-10-2018 11:20 AM

Spoiler:

about the Georgiou character, how can she be alive when we saw her getting killed by the klingons early on, hmmmm it feels suspicious i don't trust her :suspect:

Scarlett. 07-10-2018 11:20 AM

Looks like S2 is where this show is gonna find its feet.

Oh, that reminds me, there's no midseason break this time :D

Nicky91 07-10-2018 11:22 AM

Rebecca Romijn is playing number one who was played in the Original series by Majel Barrett

:flutter:

Nicky91 07-10-2018 11:25 AM

Spoiler:

one possibly theory about Georgiou return, that this isn't the real Georgiou, but the same what happened to Ash Tyler in S1, with Voq, that another klingon is now in the body of Georgiou

Did you not watch the end of S1?
Spoiler:

It’s parallel universe Georgiou

That reminds me, this was a bonus scene after the end of S1, they were gonna put it in the post credits but it didn't gel with the ending

Ugh she’s such a queen! Main cast ha!

Scarlett. 10-11-2018 02:14 PM

There's talks of Michelle Yeoh getting her own spin off series
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/li...access-1160130

Not sure which version of the character she'd be playing though

We STAN

How good is this show? I've never seen Star Trek - none of the shows or movies - is it good in its own context?

Scarlett. 14-01-2019 08:10 PM

4 days to go!

Ramsay 14-01-2019 08:50 PM

Very excited!!

Scarlett. 17-01-2019 11:45 AM

There's now 4 'Short Trek' episodes available under the "Trailers and More" option on Netflix

Oliver_W 17-01-2019 03:06 PM

I binged on ST:D after earlier post, and watched the Shorts as they were available in the USA. The Short with the dude on the AI ship is better than anything else in recent Star Trek tbh

Scarlett. 17-01-2019 08:38 PM

I wonder why Discovery was adrift in the 33rd Century?

reece(: 17-01-2019 08:50 PM

Meech Yeoh guest starring on Saru's Short Trek

As much as I like the Empress version, I miss the Captain version lol

Who knows! It's too far in the future to matter for any extant Star Trek seasons, so we may never know, unless there's gonna be a Calypso Zero!

I wonder if we're gonna see some strange timey wimey stuff happen with the crew and the ship this season?

Hmm, I'm not sure, I'd rather Calypso be a standalone really. Thought the development of the "Holly" would be interesting to see!

Scarlett. 18-01-2019 09:28 PM

Really enjoyed the first ep, the new titles were good and I love the much brighter and more hopeful tone

Scarlett. 25-01-2019 02:55 PM

Todays ep was fantastic, felt a lot like classic Trek, this season so far is already better than last

Oliver_W 10-02-2019 01:39 PM

I've been watching classic Trek for the first time, and wow it's good. It's actually killed Discovery for me, which is even when not compared to TOS, is just okay, but now it's plummeted!

Once I've finished watching TOS I'll probably go "back" and finish S2 of Discovery, but I'm in no rush <3

Nicky91 10-02-2019 01:53 PM

i've so far seen the first 2 episodes, quite a good start to the new season :)

Nicky91 12-02-2019 11:00 AM

ep 3 & 4 i watched last night

really good episodes

Scarlett. 12-02-2019 12:31 PM

This season is a lot better than S1 so far

klingons also definitely look better than in S1

and Rebecca Romijn   nice to see her again x-men's mystique :flutter:

Ramsay 12-02-2019 02:35 PM

Last episode was a snooze

reece(: 17-02-2019 02:24 PM

On episode 3, it's the best so far

Nicky91 19-02-2019 08:28 AM

saw episode 5 last sunday

Spoiler:

so Tilly was revealed as alive but in the ecosystem of mycealial spores and shock return of Dr Hugh Culber (who we thought died when Voq broke his neck but apparently came into the mycealial ecosystem via Stamets spore sweat) and they successfully brought him back into the real world, new birth in the cocoon

i'm quite enjoying this season so far :hee:

Scarlett. 23-02-2019 04:25 PM

I wonder who the Red Angel could be?

Nicky91 27-02-2019 09:56 AM

nice ep, also to know something more about Saru's homeworld

Scarlett. 27-02-2019 09:59 AM

I liked how the room Saru got taken prisoner in was a redress of the transporter room

yes and it was so true about Saru doing this for his sister, cause Michael would do the same for her brother Spock :D

reece(: 27-02-2019 03:06 PM

Ep6 was iconic, Saru

Scarlett. 27-02-2019 08:49 PM
