Debate: Is porn unfaithful?
 

So, do you think porn should be counted as being unfaithful. A few questions to think of Here.

1. Would you be upset if your partner was using porn whilst in a committed relationship with you/has this happened?

2. Have you ever used porn whilst in a committed relationship?

3. Does it make it okay if the user has permission from their OH to use it.

I think if you're using it in secret then you should talk to your OH and see if you can build on that aspect of your relationship. With permission then fair enough, but I'd still find it weird.

Also no, I don't think it is unfaithful. Maybe immoral, but not even just for couple's reasons. I actually used to be in a girl's pin-up digital painting group, and I would sometimes make my husband custom art... he seems to prefer that actually.

The poll was just to gauge the general consensus, but the subject is up for debate as I understand there are contrasting views.

No to all of the above, however, I personally find porn bleak as **** and have various moral issues with it. Really just a horrible, exploitative industry full of addicts and desperation and frankly if I wanted to see some poor smack addict getting slammed I could just set up CCTV in the alleyway behind the shop. But I really don't.

I would say no, but then if it was pictures/videos of someone they'd met on grindr/tindr then it would be a little weird. Porn/nudes are all such a weird mix.

That isn't porn though... pics sent back and forth of individuals in a personal way. Porn is more media used for a wider audience. What you are describing is a form of cheating... at least that's what I believe.
