Rita praising Anne for her "vulnerabilities"

What the actual fcuk?

Epic. 04-12-2018 09:33 PM

An amazing opinion by Rita

ThriceShy 04-12-2018 09:34 PM

It was one seriously weird opinion.

She didn't say "I didn't want people to see Anne just as the governess, I wanted them to see that she was a really nice person."

She said "I didn't want people to see Anne just as the governess, I wanted them to see all the vulnerabilities she has."

Wow.

Mitchell 04-12-2018 09:35 PM

We love Rita and Anne

Jordan. 04-12-2018 09:36 PM

Lovely gesture

You think praising someone's vulnerabilities is normal?

For Anne not to feel patronised by all this means she must have no self respect.

Anne openly speaks about her vulnerabilities, someone else highlighting it and showing her support is not at all patronising and the fact you think it's an issue is what's not normal here.

You don't say.

Why, it's almost as if she is trading on them.

Elliot 04-12-2018 09:53 PM

queen rita <3

ThriceShy 04-12-2018 09:54 PM

So the consensus then is that people like anne for her vulnerabilities.

Well, it's a fine kettle of fish, but it does explain why she is being kept in.

Well tbf she is vulnerable with her condition...I think maybe she was pointing out that the tough cookie she plays in the Chase is nothing like she is in real life.

Marsh. 04-12-2018 11:02 PM

You're seriously obsessed with Anne and her condition.

GoldHeart 05-12-2018 12:04 AM

Rita complimented Ann , I don't see the issue :idc:

Gusto Brunt 05-12-2018 12:24 AM

She's hardly vulnerable. Not like she's on Universal credit and living in a council flat.

By her own admission she's wealthy and has a good job and homes.

So "vulnerability" can only be about financial instability? :conf:

Please discuss the campmates and not other posters. Thanks.

Its virtue signalling

If she said what she thinks she would lose her privilege and job

lets not be naive here

lol

i highly doubt rita was urging to slag off annes disability and weight, she's a very good person, much like this forum has been doing but go off

I don't get the obsession with Anne from either direction. Our character is defined by our strengths and vulnerabilities. That's what shapes our character. There is an unhealthy obsession with autism as a vulnerability, when it is that very autism that has made Anne so good at doing quiz questions, it is a strength in that instance. Anne is who she is .... and she should be judged, in my opinion, by who she is as a person. No-one else gets given any slack when judging character, so why should Anne.

I think the campmates are scared around her in case it looks bad on them so they treat her like she is fully disabled

ALL of them (id wager) think that she could do a bit more in camp and do much more in trials but ALL are too scared (blame) to say

Its unhealthy

how do you mean?

bots 05-12-2018 08:36 AM

If you walk into a bakers shop wanting to buy a loaf of bread, and the shop assistant is sitting drinking a cup of tea ignoring you .... you don't think ... that's ok, poor thing probably has autism, I don't mind hanging around for the next 90 mins until they can be arsed to serve me :skull:

chuff me dizzy 05-12-2018 08:55 AM

As ive said from day one Anne is a pity case that must be wrapped in cotton wool and handled with kid gloves ... This same vulnerable woman works on 2 quiz shows, sat in bright studio lighting ( Autism ???) under pressure but goes in another show as has to be treat like an invalid ? Doesn't wash with me

Money helps. If she needs any assistance, the money is there to help her out with her needs.

Not like most of us!

chuff me dizzy 05-12-2018 10:13 AM

Ive just read that vulnerable, poor Anne is doing pantomime in front of very bright lights, loud music and hundreds of yelling kids !! Wow she's a martyr isn't she ?

Nor do I. Just another opportunity to bring up her disorder it seems, one thread after another.

Basically yes...we are not in the public eye and our jobs are not in danger if we are 'deemed' to speak out of line....god forbid anyone in there who dare make any negative comment about Anne ..this forum would be in meltdown and they would be hung drawn and quartered.

I'm surprised she can be arsed.
