Albums you don't listen to and regret buying?

I've been going through my extensive album collection today and came across a few stinkers I've barely listened to (if at all). Some were either unwanted gifts or one's I bought myself (mostly picked up from bargain bins at rock bottom prices, but later realised they were pure crap and not worth paying a penny for. So I was wondering if you have any duds in your collection?

Here's just a few of my stinkers...

Queen - Made In Heaven
Britney Spears - Glory
Kylie - Kiss Me Once
Katy Perry - Witness
Spice Girls - Forever
Calvin Harris - Motion
Mariah Carey - Rainbow, Charmbracelet
Rihanna - Unapologetic
Beyonce - B-day
Black Eyed Peas - The E.N.D
Gwen Stefani - Sweet Escape
Milli Vanilli - All or Nothing

and some others I refuse to mention. lol

Why would you get an album if you don't like it

Back in the day you couldn't stream an album, you just had the singles to go on. A lot of times you'd buy an album for like one song and the rest would be TRASH lovey!

I like the artists listed and some of their singles, but a lot of their album tracks are beyond horrific.

Aside from that, I'm old skool and tend to buy an album on impulse based on what I've heard rather than cherry pick certain songs or download the whole thing illegally like most do these days.

Itunes lets you preview each song which is what i did before spotify to decide should i get it or not and there was youtube. I regret none because of that.

Paolo Nutini's second album !!

I even tried making myself like it without success .. two half decent tracks and not one would have made the first album

unapologetic is in the top 5 for Rihanna albums and it's not number 5, 4, 3 or 2

She's cute but she doesn't open with Phresh Out the Runway, invent ballads with Stay and then end with Lost in Paradise. Unapologetic has the range!!!!

it was experimentally GENIUS in the form of Goodnight Gotham

Nancy. 13-12-2018 08:25 PM

Oh wait, found another box with this in...
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...tpop_cover.png

I received it as a "gift" from an ex mate who told me it was full of good bops. I wasn't sure if he was taking the p!ss but I listened all the same... 2 mediocre songs and the rest are pure crap. Should've gone in the bin years ago. Easy to see why the public turned their backs on her pop career after this along with the following tripe named after her dead aunt.

I do recall loving the gorgeous ballad ... More Than Words by Extreme then buying their album and being soooo disappointed as every other track was basically hard rock ( in comparison ).

in other news Unapologetic is sitting comfortably at no1, grammy in hand, like the rnb masterpiece she is... ANTI and the other girls can fight for the no2 position.
