Alexandra Burke 'DROPPED' from her record label due to Failure
Cant buy a hit
Alexandra Burke has reportedly been dropped from her record label after her most recent album only made it to No 16 in the UK chart. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017...7188999967.jpg She is said to have split from her label Decca, after releasing her third album The Truth Is with the team in March last year, reports The Sun. Former Strictly contestant Alexandra also split with her last two labels, Syco and RCA, after releasing an album with each of them. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...ord-label.html |
She's the prime example of soulless manufactured X Factor tat, and has been since her first smirking rendition of Hallelujah.
|
Her label was crap and so was the album, she’s super talented so no doubt she’ll get another one if that’s what she wants
|
it would be cute if she did a few musicals
|
Maybe she is giving up on Quality Music,
|
my impression is that people just don't like her, so it doesnt really matter how good a singer she is, people just wont buy from someone they don't like

let's leave Fergie out of this |
I don't know anyone who likes her.
I saw Beverley Knight as Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard... Alexandra Burke can only wish.... |

what is her talent? it cant be as a pop singer as her albums and singles keep tanking |
Didn't the "okay dot com" thing pretty much tank her career?

she could probably sing anything apart from bel canto you know very well that most singers don't write their stuff so while she's not without blame for her career flop it's mostly down to management as to her likeablity, I like her, but she does come across as needy but that's to do with her lack of confidence not lack of talent, i.e her voice |

there are good singers in every town in the UK, common as dog sh1te in a park talented people have hits not expensive vanity projects |
She's always had bad management. She could do with getting a new team that will do a better job of promoting her.

Diana Vickers woz robbed.
...in all seriousness though, Alexandra Burke has a technically great voice but she's bland as ****. She was on the show, and she has been since. I swear Hallelujah is one of the most hollow tracks ever released. A vapid, sucking void of a song. |

She was amazing in Sister Act aswell so I have high hopes for her in The Bodyguard. |

No doubt she has a great voice but I found her way too melodramatic and annoying on X Factor plus there's not much character to her voice, I like a bit of character in a singer

For releasing music singles and albums, especially as a solo artist, a great voice just isn't enough. The voice and the singer has to BE the show... so either the voice itself has to have something unique about it, or the person has to be charismatic and interesting in which case being a technically amazing singer doesn't even matter that much. Ironically, that's the whole "X Factor" concept :joker:. She just doesn't have The X Factor, despite having a great voice. |

Aww bless her. I loved her on the x factor and she has a great voice she does doesn't come across as likeable to everyone and hasn't had a hit for a while but
Broken heels. Start without you. Bad Boys. All great songs! |
People dragging her like she didn't have a great start out with amazing songs like Bad Boys, Broken Heels and Start Without You. Yeah her last album was a flop but it's not like she's had some decent music for sure.
|
i don't get why she's being dragged she literally minds her own business and sings

A shame for her though, hopefully she'll find another label. |
Kylie went through a low period when her record company dumped her when her album sold something like 5 copies ..... and look what happened to her
