George Galloway on Big Mouth: Would you like me to be the host? and George Galloway and BB:BM (merged)

What do you think of George Galloway on Big Mouth so far?

Princess 05-06-2007 10:12 PM

I'm not watching because I really dislike him but I'm gonna presume hes terrible.

Mike 05-06-2007 10:14 PM

No one's as good as Brand. I think George has been better than Moyles but without Russell the show just hasn't been the same, it's turned into such a serious show now, use to love it when the sidekicks came on.

Fanboy_Luke 05-06-2007 10:19 PM

I hate Galloway with a passion but you can't deny the bloke's got charisma. Better than Moyles because he's actually letting the audience talk. They should go the whole hog and bring in the inspiration for the current set, Kilroy himself.

Was Ginger Bloke only in the Moyles episodes?

Fanboy_Luke 05-06-2007 10:25 PM

Nope, he's back. Not half as funny as on Gonzo though.

Matt 05-06-2007 10:26 PM

Good at best.

I thought he was gonna be cringeworthy, but he seems alright.

But no one is as good as Brand.

Fanboy_Luke 05-06-2007 10:29 PM

Pete Burns needs to sort his ****ing roots out.

CharlotteSometimes 05-06-2007 11:02 PM

Lol, he was wearing a wig!

I went with 'Good', but probably should've gone with 'Better than Moyles'. It was obvious he was reading from an autocue or whatever a few times, and he got a tad flustered when Pete finished talking sooner than he'd anticipated, too. But there were far less tumbleweed moments than there were during Moyles' stint.

Psylocke 05-06-2007 11:03 PM

He was good, and waaaaaaaay better than rubbish moyles

Chrizzle 05-06-2007 11:04 PM

Hes lost A LOT of weight.
It was an entertaining show.

I agree he was better than Chris Moyles.

Dan_ 05-06-2007 11:04 PM

I thought he was very good, found some of his comments funny and his interaction with the audience was good and he allowed people a fair say.

I think you are spot on. Given some more time it can only get better.

bonnie43uk 05-06-2007 11:13 PM

i love galloway ever since i saw him take on the might of the American senate, and took them to the cleaners!!!
He did an excellent job IMHO

It's just so wrong!

bigbrotherpodcast 05-06-2007 11:18 PM

I was surprised about him saying "Would you like me to be the host?"... I like when people can make fun of themselves.

He's not that good a TV presenter but I think he made the most of his talents. Chris Moyles is too obsessed with bigging himself up

Matt 05-06-2007 11:20 PM

Channel 4 have a fixation with Moyles at the moment...

...he did Big Mouth last week...
...he was on The F Word tonight...
...and he is on Friday Night Project this week!

I remember that and it impressed me to..... they didn't know what to do.

Wouldn't surprise me! John Noel Management should be renamed Channel 4 Management!

GlitterEyes 06-06-2007 12:37 AM

Much better than Moyles but still lacking that spark I feel.

Shaun 07-06-2007 06:13 PM

George Galloway and BB:BM

I personally haven't watched any of it, but will catch one soon hopefully On Demand, or something.

But what do you think of his performance?

Gap 07-06-2007 06:15 PM

I really like him on it, he's got first hand expierience of being in the house so he's very fair to all the housemates :)

Shaun 07-06-2007 06:15 PM

Any cringe-worthy moments? :laugh2:

Crystal-Rose 07-06-2007 06:18 PM

its completely hurrendous! :bored::bored::bored::bored::bored:
i saw a bit last night but turned it off
he is so boring even his voice makes me fall asleep

bring back russel, i never thought i would say this but he made it funny!!

its ruined now! :cloud:

h87 07-06-2007 06:22 PM

Think they need to go back to Brand on their knees. Show just doesn't work without him.

ShadowEye 07-06-2007 06:32 PM

I think he's great, as was Moyles. Is tonight Geoge's last night? If so, who's taking over?

sol 07-06-2007 06:35 PM

He's okay, Russell is a very hard act to follow so I suppose we should all give them some credit. I think Moyles was better though.
Personally, I think that Alan Carr and Justic Lee Collins should be a permanant replacement for Russell.

Mike 07-06-2007 06:41 PM

The show will just never be the same anymore which is a huge shame because when Russell was the host there used to be so many laughs. George is ok, infact hes done a better job than Chris i think.

Lil-Lindz 07-06-2007 06:42 PM

I think he's worse than moyles, i hate his accent LOL

Red Moon 07-06-2007 10:35 PM

I think Channel 4 fell on there feet tonight... they couldn't have had a better person to handle this.

Well done George.

ttw 07-06-2007 10:38 PM

Agreed, Red.

And I'm glad that none of the audience are calling for Emily's head on a silver platter, too.

Rory 07-06-2007 10:39 PM

He's taking this well.

JeanP! 07-06-2007 11:21 PM

Common people, he was very good o BBBM :cloud:

Yep they have to get these two in rather than keep having poor guest hosts.

I think it would work really well with the pair of them, one in the audience and the other with the guests, keep the tempo of the show up rather than waiting for fat blokes to make their way around the studio lol. Plus there might actually be some laughs in it again!

the_chosen_one 07-06-2007 11:44 PM

He's good.

What a wonderful coincidence he was booked to work the week of the 'race' debate, being so adept at handling political situations.

Tom4784 08-06-2007 12:51 AM

I thought he was quit.e good

Spike 08-06-2007 09:03 AM

His a very good host much better than chris moyles was
