Love Island is important to the forum

If people want to put it to ignore, it should be allowed.

It is probably so new that they have not added it to that yet.

Yeah seeing all the Love Island threads popping up regularly is pretty tiring tbh...

With newly created forums I don't usually enable the option to ignore them now. I'm not sure it's the best thing for the forum, to completely hide certain parts of it.

Maybe just disable them from being visible on the side bar.

That can't really be done for particular users, just everyone.

It's better to use the New Posts and Today's posts links at the top, by the way.

But we don't have any interest in seeing or posting in that forum :unsure: Surely it should be the members disgretion if they want to ignore something?

Exactly, it’s my personal choice, I’m not going to post in there...ever, all it’s doing is stopping me seeing other recent threads in other sub forums which now I might not see cause live island is taking up all the recently posted in threads :fist:

I have never watched Love Island, and have no interest in it. I just skim past the Love Island threads.

However if something was posted in that forum with a title that was interesting - say a celebrity you were interested in - you would want to know the thread exists, and might want to look at the thread.

Is this option available yet?

I love the show, but i need to stop getting too obsessed by it. Especially when big brother is coming. :laugh:

Thought I'd show my support for this. I'm happy there's a forum now for those that watch it it would just be a handy option to have for those that don't, if it's possible to do. People who aren't interested in it aren't going to be interested whether they see the threads or not, it'd just make browsing the site easier imo.

Not one post the LI forum is appearing in the sidebar now, and this is the case most of the time, apart from the 9pm chat thread, the forum is not exactly heaving with posts, I would say this thread has had more time on the side bar than the actual forum threads :laugh:

Mind I once had a glitch that lasted a month where the only forum I could ignore was Ben from A1 :D Fairly sure I left it ignored in protest even when it sorted itself out.

If james dfoesn't reply in a day or so, will bring this up in admin
