ITV2 is getting sensationally scary this Halloween with brand new show, Killer Camp.

In this reality event, airing across five nights leading up to Halloween, 11 unsuspecting contributors will be dropped into an 80s inspired lakeside lodge where, after an explosive twist, they learn it’s not the Summer Camp they’d envisaged but a Killer Camp with a secret murderer amongst them.

The aim of the game is to earn cash whilst avoiding being killed and therefore eliminated from the game. Over five bloody nights the murderer will bump off their fellow campers in ever more extreme, hilarious and inventive ways; it’s the job of the innocents to work out who is responsible before it’s too late...

Can the innocents find the killer amongst them and walk away with a big money prize? Or will the killer remain undetected and steal their cash?

Probably being optimistic thinking this will be any good but it's the closest we'll probably ever get to a UK version of The Mole/Whodunnit so I'll give it a go!

Their illusions are cut short when, during a fun little pedalo ride in the opening moments, one of the contestants suddenly burns to death. From there, they learn they have a murderer in their midst. One of them is a mole, and they are all in danger. Over five nights the contestants have to work to uncover the truth. If they don’t, they’ll end up dead.

It’s an intriguing premise, and one which – for the most part – manages to work. The contestants all twitch and squirm, endlessly second-guessing each other as they go through the rote reality TV machinations of gossiping and arbitrarily getting off with each other. They’re not simply voted off the show at the end of each episode, of course – they are murdered in horrible ways. To tell you how exactly would strip Killer Camp of all its fun, but the murder sequences themselves are all completely gorgeous to look at; the tinny reality TV production values of the rest of the show ramped up to grimy video nasty levels. Some of them are a little silly – you’ll never look at a nude statue in the same way again – but that doesn’t detract from how purely entertaining they are.

They actually put a casting call out for a show called "Summer Camp" and applicants thought it was gonna be a Love Island type of show set in a summer camp setting... but in the first episode when they get there they're told it's actually a Whodunnit survival reality show :laugh:

I hope it's as good as I Survived A Zombie Apocalypse, that's the kind of vibe I'm getting from it!

I loved that show! I really wanted a second series so I could apply. Pray Summer Camp is a hit so I can apply and kill strangers :love:

As expected, the producers of this show are dumbasses

Also, I think this show would be alot better without the cringey annoying host. Either a normal host or no host at all would be 100x better
