James Corden hints Gavin and Stacey could return for a full series
 

After the tidy response to the Gavin and Stacey Christmas special, which saw the return of the beloved BBC sitcom after almost a decade off our screens, its co-creator James Corden has hinted that it may now return for a full fourth series.

Oscar Hartland, who stars in the show as Neil ‘the baby’ – the son of Smithy (Corden) and Nessa (co-creator Ruth Jones) – told presenters on Good Morning Britain that he asked Corden on set whether Gavin and Stacey could make a full series comeback, and Corden replied that it might happen if it’s “what the people want.”

I dont know how he will find the time to film 6 hour long episodes when he struggled to find the time to film 1 hour

I love the show but, no.

He didn't struggle at all.

The struggle was getting the entire cast to find a gap when they were all free at the same time.

If it came back, I'd fear it would go the same way as Still Game, in that it tries to stay funny/relevant by using the same old gags and catchphrases that were good 10 years ago.

I'd still watch it, mind you. :laugh:

I didn't start watching Still Game until the penultimate season, and I really enjoyed it. I've not "caught up" yet with the older ones...

This isn't Grindr and it's certainly NOT the gay scene. An age gap larger than two years in the hetero-world is simply UNHEARD of. How would a 17 year old meet a 27 year old?!

Harry Styles and Caroline Flack had a "Harold and Maud" thing going on to be fair.

I wouldn't say an age gap is unheard of at all.

But teens and late 20s is a rarity I grant you.

I actually used to hate James Corden.

He doesn't annoy me as much as he used to.

But, in the show, he makes me laugh one or two times but he's not the funniest character at all.

We just want the Pam and Dawn spin off.

Pam and Dawn is what we deserve.
