Kate and Will are visiting Ireland
:amazed:
I hope they riverdance :hee: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/royal...cid=spartanntp The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge begin an historic tour of Ireland – their first official visit to the Emerald Isle. William and Kate will celebrate the UK’s ties with one of its closest EU neighbours, learning about its culture and initiatives to protect the environment. The Cambridges’ trip, which unusually was announced in advance, is likely to be seen as a diplomacy visit in the wake of Brexit. |

I remember the Queen made a point of wearing a green suit when she arrived and had embroidered shamrocks on her gown at the banquet. I wonder if Kate will do the same?

Irish newspapers praise Prince William and Kate Middleton for message of 'peace and reconciliation' during tour - while columnist compares their visit to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 'chaotic' trip two years ago. A report in the Irish Daily Mail from Craig Hughes said a 'message of peace and reconciliation rang out throughout the opening day' of the official visit. And Irish Times journalist Miriam Lord said William and Kate were launching a 'charm offensive' during their three-day tour, nine years after the Queen's visit. The political sketch writer added that it appeared the Cambridges 'were well briefed on the political situation in Ireland in a non-partisan way'. Meanwhile the Independent's editorial said the visit 'should be appreciated, after 800 years of shared history with UK we should take nothing for granted'. |

What agenda do you think the DM had in that article? That the Irish newspapers were not praising the Cambridge's visit, it was lies? Or if not, what exactly? |
