Up to yesterday I was if two minds due to privacy but as no personal details are held then yes I will
|
Please vote !!
Thank you |
I am a little unsure. I am a little dubious about the privacy side of it. They will be able to trace it back to you, through IP address, IMEI numbers on your phone etc. It feels all very Big Brother.

In voted yes .. just in case it turns out to be a game changer ... plus I don’t really care if anyone is following my movements.. I’ve simply nothing to hide ..
I guess there will be thousands who are messing around without their partners knowing who may be wary though .. I’m probably one of the few who like the idea of millions of CCTV cameras everywhere Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
No, i won't. I live out in the sticks and I don't use public transport, I will continue to have food delivered at my door. I don't see a need for it at the moment
|
No. Cummings mate is collecting the profit from it. Don’t trust them at all not to misuse my data. I’d think twice if the money was going somewhere else but tories gotta Tory so no
|
It should be compulsory tbh
|
can you send nudes on it?
|
What does it do?

if it becomes available here in Netherlands
my answer is NO ******* thank you, i care about my privacy more, and i myself am Always at home anyway :idc: this whole app means you lose your privacy completely, they know everytime where you are, what you do, you see if people with covid are near you but there are more negatives than good things around this app |
I'm pretty confident it is no bigger threat to privacy than almost every other app that seeks access to your contacts, files, location, wants to link to your social media account etc
By all intents and purposes its gonna be really important to getting back to normal life that the majority of people use this app, makes me despair that people wouldn't use it out of a dislike of the Tory party |

I do think the app can't be the only strategy though, as S.korea have shown the best results for contact tracing, and only 20-25% used their equivalent app. |
Nope, no need for it

This is all getting a little tiresome and rather predictable.. you and your little crew of Tory haters targeting anyone who speaks up against your biased views or dares to speak up for something the government are proposing . Anyways, you came into a thread that I started and nit-picked one of my posts and so it sounds as though you’re getting confused ..I surely had the right to reply .. Edit: just read the bit you've added. A simple no would have sufficed. Enjoy reading my old threads and posts. :smug: |
it really all depends on the privacy settings of the app, some of them in other countries advise when someone leaves their home when they should be isolating which I don't believe the NHS app does (yet) I use road guidance all the time (under normal circumstances) and it's obviously beneficial in that circumstance for the app to know where I am. I certainly wouldnt want private details going to some over zealous Cambridge Analytica clone.
