Honestly I would rather they pretended S8 never happened and picked up from S7 or even 6. I will watch obviously but I was so mad about what they did in that season [emoji28] I loved that show more than any other

Best just make the best of it .. I liked the ending as he was alive and well and living a new life .. I was dreading him being killed off .. I can’t wait for the new series

It was terrible, the only right ending was for him to have been caught or killed (and I say that as someone who loved the show) also he didn't want Harrison ending up like him so he leaves him in the care of murderous girlfriend instead? How does that make any sense at all?

You had to leave all sensibility behind and think of the good times :)

[emoji28] I still have rage issues around the ending. I hate when they ruin shows I love with terrible endings. The only two shows I can think of that I really loved that I was happy with was 6 Feet Under & Breaking Bad

user104658 15-10-2020 09:16 AM

I am actually so here for this :joker:. Please let him now use an axe, as an homage to his time as a lumberjack!

I think killed would have been quite cliché and anticlimactic as well to be honest - my perfect ending him being exposed as the world's most prolific vigilante serial killer and put on death row... but there being a huge wave of public support for him (because he only killed killers) and some corrupt governor riding the popularity to spare him the death penalty, and he ends up with life in prison and "celebrity status".

Sending Harrison off with Penny Poisoner to go off and chop trees was hilarious but just not believable.

If you include El Camino to tie up Jessie's story, I think the story arc and ending of Breaking Bad are actually perfect. There's no better example of getting it right.

Hhhmmm I think Deb killing him would have worked and also what were they thinking adding in that Deb was in love with him ugh

I’ve never actually watched this, but I’ve been looking for something new to watch since I finished my criminal minds rewatch, might give this a go

Well El Camino is really part of Breaking Bad imo. I like Better Call Saul but it isn't as good as BB imo

Oh Weeds had a decent ending I thought as well

The Slim Reaper 15-10-2020 10:36 AM

Only just finished a rewatch of this. Seasons 6 and 8 were terrible, but the one good thing abut the way it ended was that

Spoiler:

it gets Deb out the way, who was pretty much an equal character in that last season.

Hopefully, these 10 episodes lead on to a few more seasons, especially as this is being made by the guy who did the first 4 seasons.

This is up there with the worst decisions in TV writing history :umm2:

bots 15-10-2020 11:08 AM

Hannah is just misunderstood

I will mis Debs though, it was them playing off each other that made many moments in the show

I don't care that they weren't blood related, their relationship had always been very brother/sisterly, it felt really off and incestuous and really cheapened Debs character I thought

It could have been done and worked if it was fleshed out properly over a few seasons, rather than a couple of therapy sessions.

Ugh no, I just hated it [emoji28]

Shaun 15-10-2020 04:45 PM

money that could've been spent on a far more necessary Hannibal reboot :(
