Warby (the Judge) goes on to say

125. I would accept that, in principle, it was legitimate for Mr Markle to seek to rebut the inaccurate suggestion that the Letter represented some form of “olive branch”....

But the Mail published more than was strictly necessary to show this....

The copyright trial will still go ahead, Warby rules, as she was allegedly aided in writing it by the Palace communications secretary, Jason Knauf. (The Express).

It is indeed.
A well warranted one too.

That will make her feel so 'empowered'....

jet 11-02-2021 04:41 PM

When is she going to sue People magazine, for revealing what was in the letter as told to them by a selection of friends; presenting her in the best light possible?

Nasty nasty girl

Crimson Dynamo 11-02-2021 05:19 PM

its a shame she does not make the same effort to heal the wounds she inflicted on her poor father

or indeed on our own Queen :(

nothing but a pyrrhic victory

Black Dagger 11-02-2021 05:31 PM

Her father is a ****ing ghoul.

Yes I think she will regret that and her actions when her father passes (assuming he goes before her)

She won't regret it. She didn't even ask him how he was after he had his heart attack. It's well documented that she's as cold as ice when your usefulness has passed.

Marsh. 11-02-2021 05:38 PM

All these people acting like the authority on someone else's relationship with their own father.

You do realise we’re on a forum? It’s where people discuss things... this has been all over the news, it’s being discussed by people with differing opinions.. No one is acting like “the authority” :conf:

If you struggle to handle differing opinions maybe a forum isn’t a good place to be.

Shaun 11-02-2021 05:42 PM

People really need to find something important to care about

If you don't understand what was in the post you're responding to, why bother.

Discussing and having opinions on the news of her trial is one thing, acting like you're familiar with her and her father and their personal relationship is weird.

Continue with that all you like, but I'll comment on it, if you don't like differing opinions on that maybe a forum isn't for you.

Spot on LT...

AnnieK 11-02-2021 05:55 PM

I find it hard to have much sympathy with her father after he sold pictures prior to the wedding. Other than that, the whole affair is pretty personal as no-one really knows what goes on in families and should have been kept private by all sides. I applaud her for suing the media though, they need to be held accountable when they cross a line.
