Yes I am sure Harry would be delighted to see his elderly Grandparents dragged through the mud by his wife, seems a healthy thing to do?

I think the interview will be quite tame in all honesty

UserSince2005 16-02-2021 11:06 AM

I think the hollywood acting classes will be useful to force some fake tears

Ammi 16-02-2021 11:09 AM

...do we know when it’ll be screened in the U.K. and what streaming site etc...I don’t really have any comment until I’ve seen it in full and I will watch it so long it’s available for me to watch...

I agree. I don't think for one minute Meghan has any desire to bring down the Royals. She just wants to live her life the way she wants. The papers are saying this will mean there is no way back to the Royal life so maybe this will shut that avenue of attack down forever

Ammi 16-02-2021 11:10 AM

...oh, Sunday March 7...I’ll learn to read...I don’t know if I can get CBS...

DouglasS 16-02-2021 11:17 AM

So they want privacy yet do tonnes of public televised interviews and publicity shoots

Basically they want all the rewards with none of the work

Crimson Dynamo 16-02-2021 11:24 AM

I am afraid they have become a laughing stock

:(

Glenn. 16-02-2021 11:24 AM

‘Tonnes of public televised interviews’

Where are the ton of interviews they’ve done? Can you link them for me please.

I know the hypocrisy of it all.

Well they will have their ego's stroked by Oprah...they will get the publicity they crave.
I think this interview will be the beginning of the end...lets hope Harry remains respectful to his family.

The Slim Reaper 16-02-2021 11:29 AM

If they want to give their side of the story, then this kind of thing was always inevitable. Folks either accept the tabloid version of them, or they can finally hear them in their own words.

People will believe what they want to believe lets be real, whatever she says it will be butchered and dissected, if she put's her hand on her pregnant belly or puts her hands in her pockets etc etc etc

Thats very true....but then it depends how much you choose to believe. Meghan is extremely theatrical in everything she does.

Chosing when to court publicity makes sense. Like, I would be happy for photoshoots (and the money from them) but would be quite unimpressed with a picture of me doing a crap to be all over the press

Yeah the press will always be all over celebs, comes with the territory. But I still cannot really fault them for trying to have a bit of privacy..even moreso when you think that the press basically killed Harrys mother.

That said, I won't watch this I don't think. I cannot bloody stand Oprah..which might potentially be one of the most offensive posts on this site to some!

Given THEIR whining interview with Tom Bradbury on the SA documentary is what turned me off them and others by all accounts, this is a bit of a over simplification of what is going on

We don't all read headlines and take then to heart

I guess people are naive to think Meghan and Harry will ever got a private life they just want more control and freedom it's not like they are making a real housewives type show and inviting them into their house all year round 24/7. You can want privacy and still do interviews. Every celebrity wants a bit of privacy and they do interviews but no one really says anything about they but they continue to bully a pregnant woman who just had a miscarriage and continue to be toxic

I don't much keep up with royal crap, and dont much care about the monarchy either and never have. But the..way Meghan is talked about is quite concerning to me. She literally cannot do anything right. This interview will be proof of her seeking publicity, meanwhile, if they did not do this interview, it would be 'shunning the public' or 'trying to keep an air of mystery for attention' or something similar. I know women tend to get a bad deal in the press and such, but this is on another level.

No doubt she will...I couldnt give a damn about what she does with her hands. I want to listen to what she and Harry have to say.
I think its almost a little sad its come to this for Harry....A prince of the Realm appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show...but each to their own I guess.

She is held to a higher standard than anyone else it seems. The haters who want her to go away are actually the reason why she gets attention because the media jumps on the bandwagon to attack and bully. Bit weird really how someone who hasn't really done nothing bad gets people so wound up and she lives in peoples head rent free.

 Yeah I just always found the Royal stuff weird and really out dated but it's not my country so not my business. I suppose it's probably good for Tourism, does it balance what they cost the Tax Payer?

Glenn. 16-02-2021 11:51 AM

The royals rake in tons of cash for the country yeah. But that’s no excuse for the strange sense of ownership. Even stranger when Harry isn’t a working royal anymore. You’d think people would let them be but here we are.

Brother Leon 16-02-2021 11:54 AM

Kinda wish they weren’t giving Oprah the exclusive. Something really doesn’t sit right with her for me. That said, I’m here for the fumes.

Reminds me when people cried at Meghan 'stealing' Harry away from them like he was their toy.

AnnieK 16-02-2021 11:55 AM

Diana did an interview to try and get her side across after her split with Charles....Harry could be just following her lead.

I'm sure he wouldn't agree to something he didn't want to do....not matter what anyone thinks

Well especially since he's never going to be King anyway, it's not like his great grand uncle who gave up the throne or anything
