Hubby is having fish, but home cooked so I won’t bother.
I only eat fish from the fish shop, and that’s mainly for the batter.:laugh:

I don't eat meat so no.

When I did,it was always fish on Good Friday though in my family.

I always have fish on Fridays.....but I did do bacom butties this morning :laugh:

Salmon today but thats due to it needing to be used up rather than it being Good Friday, I don’t bother too much with thinking about that

Umm no the competition was yesterday and I won maybe you missed it.

The chippy is 1 minutes walk from my house.I went there.

I had fish (Haddock, none of that Cod rubbish) chips, mushy peas and scraps. Plenty of salt and vinegar and a pickled onion.

Hull people get called Cod heads from outsiders, little do they know that the jokes on them.

It's because when Hull was one of the World's fishing capitals, we used to send all the bitter tasting Cod inland and keep all the sweet tasting Haddock for ourselves, so they think we're cod eaters eaters when in reality, we're Haddock eaters
