Women's Pajamas shorts/lounge wear shorts

Why are they always up your ass crack short? It's fine for bed but what about walking around the house? Anyone know where you can buy decent length Pajamas shorts for women? Might just buy some mens, not sure if sizes are different though with men's, like would you need to go a size down or would they be like for like sizes?

bots 06-04-2021 02:47 PM

should be the same although they may be a bit draughty

Cherie 06-04-2021 02:58 PM

Have you looked at Next Niamh?

Vicky. 06-04-2021 03:03 PM

I just get mens now..after trying varying womens types. Much more comfortable. Womens seem...to be basically made for dwarfs, and always seem to be rather tight on the arse too even if you get a couple sizes up to make them looser, almost like they are designed that way.

Sometimes the mens ones are a bit long like. But I prefer them too long rather than basically hotpants while claiming comfort is the main aim!

I tend to order stuff like this in a 16-18 as purposely try to get them as loose as possible. Am actually usually a 14-16. I get mens, medium and they tend to be perfect, though sometimes a bit long but easy to take up. So most women would probably get a mens small? Assuming most women are not as..round as I am..

Mind, I find the hugging the arse thing for tracksuit bottoms also. Desite them apparently being the same in all but sizing. Womens always feel too snug there. Where the equiv mens size...are baggy on the arse, like I bloody want them

Thanks Vicky, it's so annoying though, also what's weird is most of the womens shorts the legs on them are cut at a weird angle, why is that? I'll find a picture to show you what I mean, like they they're cut up wards instead of straight across

...there are knee length ones on here, I’m not sure if that’s the thing...but yeah, it always helps if they aren’t what you wouldn’t want to open the door wearing if someone came.....

Buy a pair of pj bottoms and have them altered to the length you want?

That's a bit of a trek, it would be easier just to buy a pair of mens

Yea, I know what you mean. I think that might be part of the problem with the...snug arse thing I was on abou. As they are cut weirdly.

Ammi 06-04-2021 03:44 PM

...they have some longer ladies shorts on Amazon, I don’t know if they deliver okay to Ireland...I know I had some trouble in getting a delivery to Jess one time...I would think EBay would be a good call as well...

Maybe we could start a women's pajama shorts company or just a proper women's clothes shop featuring decent length pajama shorts, dresses with Pockets and women's boxer shorts

noone should be wandering around the house in pajamas.

wake up, shower and put on your clothes

at night when you are going to bed put on pajamas

only for when you sleep

NO other time

I have m&S proper mens ones

ladies should wear a nightgoon or goonie or a jamaratte

Niamh will be greeting Gav in that little number next week

I have a few women's ones and they give me wedgies so I cut a few old pairs of stretchy full length ones just above the knee to wear in the house in summer, I might as well just be in my underwear with the regular pyjama shorts.

Niamh. 07-04-2021 09:41 AM

If we all started buying mens PJ shorts they might get the hint

Niamh. 14-05-2021 05:52 PM

Update : Gav bought me a pair of man PJ shorts today with pockets, possibly my favourite present ever, they're amazing
