If charles william and William's kids all died before the queen.
Would Andrew become king when the queen died?
|
no Harry I think.
|
Hopefully Meghan takes over
|
Harry would then be next in line.
If an heir is too young I think they have to appoint a Prince Regent or something like that, which would be another Royal, but I'd have to check. |

Isn't Anne older, so would be ahead? Although I'm not sure on the ages thing.
edit: just googled anne, an she's 15th in line, so I was wrong about her being ahead. |

Anne is older, but it has nothing to do with that line. Charles entire tree under him would need to be wiped out else one of Charles direct descendants would be crowned.
Anne, Princess Royal is the Queen's second child and only daughter. When she was born she was third in line to the throne, but is now 15th. She was given the title Princess Royal in June 1987. |
Its complicated and im sure if if all of Wills kids died with him it would go straight to the Queens next oldest son which is Andrew and not Harry because as soon as kids are born he loses his chance of becoming king as it doesn't get passed on to the Uncle but the Queens next oldest male child
|
…well there are discussions about tapering down the royal institution atm, it’s been reported so maybe we wouldn’t have a sovereign…

Also if Will was king and died before his kids were of a mature age to reign then Andrew would become stand in king
|
The war of the roses that led to Henry the 8ths father becoming king was probably the most complex example of how the family line can be affected if one or all are wiped out. That was a truly ****ed up time
|
Also wirh Harry relinquishing all Royal roles i dont think there would ever be a position he could take over because he has exiled himself from the Royal family

There is no way Andrew or Harry would get the role of regent, both have stepped away from royal duties so it would be Beatrice, which i would be quite happy with

Good to see Louis get the Europa spot

Meghan's murder plans exposed?
|
tbh i think (hope) it would be curtains for the royal family if all that happened...

Thats what I was wondering.... |
yeah, as harry and andrew have both relinquished royal roles, they can't then turn round and say ... oh, i will be regent? nice ... i will go for that
|
King Harry could save the Royal Family imho
The ‘firm’ are gonna take a major dive in popularity when Queenie departs and Charlie boy takes the reins Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I completely disagree...although I think people would like to see William come to the Throne instead of Charles...I think he is respected and loved by a Majority of the GBP. I do think Charles would still be accepted as King. Im afraid King Harry will never be....and if he did that truly would be the end. Why would anyone want Harry as king when he cant even deal with being a Prince... |
Yep, the monarchy's days are numbered.

I don't think Charles would be well received as king considering we'd have Queen Camilla. Diana would roll in her grave. That home wrecking harlot is no Queen. Let William take the reins.

I’d be very interested to see a poll on the popularity of the individuals royals ... before MM appeared on the scene everyone loved Harry so I think he’s won them all over .. Charles will never be liked nor forgiven for his despicable behaviour ( Di) . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

That’s the only possible compromise tbh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Here you go: These are the most popular royals (rated very positive or positive) according to a YouGov poll of 1,730 Britons between April 21 and 22: The Queen: 85 per cent (net: +78) Prince William: 80 per cent (net: +68) Kate Middleton: 78 per cent (net: +67) Princess Anne: 70 per cent (net: +58) Prince Charles: 58 per cent (net: +25) Prince Edward: 54 per cent (net: +35) Prince Harry: 43 per cent (net: -6) Camilla Parker Bowles: 43 per cent (net: +1) Meghan Markle: 29 per cent (net: -32) Prince Andrew: 10 per cent (net: -69) To think that Harry used to be often second after the Queen, now he's on a par with Camilla, and Megs is only more popular than Andrew. Charles is more popular than either of them. |

I think people will easily forgive Harry’s indiscretions but never forget Camilla’s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

He's arguably the only Royal who's had the guts to walk away from the 'family' and all the privilege and wealth . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro |

Edward abdicated for the love of his wife...Harry isn’t the first Royal to leave ‘the Family’. Harry walked away for ‘a quieter life’ and independence but he moaned on NT for the LOSS of their privilege and wealth... |

I agree...but Camilla was no more of a home wrecker than Charles...they were both married with a family... |
