Strictly Jake 19-05-2021 06:07 PM

AnnieK 19-05-2021 06:10 PM

It looks so much better than I thought it was going to be.

I think it’ll probably end up airing on Sky

Samm 19-05-2021 06:16 PM

****e show

Marsh. 19-05-2021 06:37 PM

Looked forward to this for ages but James Corden? Sheesh, when will that cretin disappear?

Jake. 19-05-2021 06:41 PM

After I saw the guest lineup it dampened my excitement for it but I must admit it does look good

Marsh. 19-05-2021 06:41 PM

God Lisa Kudrow's laugh. :joker:

:flutter:

Via shady sites.

Calderyon 19-05-2021 07:20 PM

Will definitely watch.

rusticgal 19-05-2021 08:40 PM

I’m welling up :bawling:....cannot wait. One of the best US sitcoms of all time :cheer2:

GoldHeart 19-05-2021 09:23 PM

I swear they've been saying this for a million years to tease us .

Lewismacfarlane 20-05-2021 08:05 AM

Ive just started watching friends on Netflix

bots 20-05-2021 09:22 AM

Ross doesnt seem to have aged a day

Niamh. 20-05-2021 09:26 AM

I thought it was going to be an actual feature length episode so I was a bit disappointed to hear it's more of a documentary

yeah, i'm not excited either way. The show was a special point in time that can't be replicated. Sometimes I think it's best to leave it well alone

I suppose so, of course I'll be watching either way. Love Friends but I have to say Schitts Creek surpassed it for me in my favourites Sitcoms list

Crimson Dynamo 20-05-2021 09:49 AM

Joey looks the most normal to me but probably as iv seen him in all the top gear episodes

Joey and Phoebe just look like "older versions of themselves" as you'd expect tbh... Rachel and Monica look a bit odd because of plastic surgery, poor Chandler had like over a decade of addiction problems at one point which clearly aged him, and Ross just looks... so... puffy these days. No other way to describe it. He looks like Ross, but having an allergic reaction.

It does amuse me that Matt LeBlanc has indeed put on quite a bit of weight - just as Friends "vision of the future" episodes thought Joey would :hehe:.

Rachel looks amazing though, plastic surgery or not

I find the "frozen faces" really creepy, I can't help it :worry:. It's an "uncanny valley" thing I think. Like my brain is telling me they're not human. I remember on the last (or maybe second-to-last) X-factor series I found Simon Cowell genuinely upsetting to look at. His eyes :bawling:.

I wouldn't be a massive fan of the plastic surgery look but I think Jennifer Aniston looks OK

So many people have said this. I don't know how though, they always said it was a cast reunion, not an episode.

They're not replicating, they're reminiscing.

God, yeah, he looked like he'd been dead in a river for 6 weeks.

Lisa Kudrow is the only one who's left her face alone it seems.

Oliver_W 20-05-2021 06:38 PM

Even though it's a reunion not an episode, I'm not a fan of them having so many guests who have nothing to do with the show.

Crimson Dynamo 20-05-2021 06:59 PM

v said this before but every Thursday at like 20:59 i would say to ex-Mrs LT
"right, who laughs first loses"

and we would cave in the first like 30 seconds

it was impossible not to

Next day at work everyone would talk about the episode

It was massive

I agree to be fair - I'd much rather if they'd got a selection of the minor characters/cameos etc. on as guests instead of random "current celebs". Paul Rudd, Tom Selleck, Maggie Wheeler (Janice!) etc.

You could even have people like Paulo, Julie (who recently voiced and motion-captured a character in Ghost of Tushie, as some fun trivia...) ... just a whole "exes" segment I guess .

Dogeatdog 20-05-2021 11:13 PM

I’ll defo be watching :D

James 20-05-2021 11:29 PM

The Inbetweeners reunion apparently didn't turn out too well (I didn't see it).

That's because, like this one, social media got itself in a tizzy of it being a "new episode" that was never promised.

It's funny how many of the guests are still somewhat relevant today - Paul Rudd, Jeff Goldblum, Bruce Willis, Reece Withaspoon...
