To Denmark
|
out of the embers, came Southgate to hand the english public the euro's trophy :cheer: :cheer: |
Don't people say this all the time.....and yet they never have 'come home'.

it is a sign when all luck is on England's side, and giants like Portugal, France, Netherlands all fail |

and this time i really genuinely feel it this could be the best chance in many years to lift the trophy i think they will meet Spain in the final, but that are my and my dad's predictions (my dad isn't convinced of england so far but i am) i feel like playing against Ukraine, and first time not in Wembley but Rome will feel much better, less pressure, to play a bit more free than the last games |
nay they will be out on Saturday

They'll be deserving of it when they play well and win fair. Good luck to them. |
I hope they play Saturday's game like they played the second half yesterday. I thought they looked like they were asleep for the first half. Maguire looked like he was nailed to the floor. Anyhoo... big win on Saturday I hope.
I'd like Pickford in goal and then 5 Sakas and 5 Sterlings on the field. |

I thought he got the tactics pretty spot on, you can't play at a high tempo for 90 minutes so they kept it steady and then upped the tempo in the second half when it was too late for the Germans to respond, scoring early gives the other team too much time to marshall ...Cherie Southgate :hee:

There will be no England fans in Rome unless its ones who live in Italy

England may win, but on the other hand they might not. Especially if they underestimate their opponent, which they often do.

I had Maguire down as my man of the match, I thought he was immense |
Football is Coming Home, Its Coming Home
Some tough games left but we start playing Jack Grealish from the start can beat everyone left ... apart from maybe Spain ?
I don’t think we will touch the flamin ball against them . Their ball retention/ possession is immense whereas ours is pants ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
Spain have looked average I think. Belgium would be hardest to beat imo
|
Nicky is now a Dane i see.

Spain started the first two games without their captain and playmaker Busquets. In the two games since he returned they’ve scored TEN goals !! Pretty good average :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Well the final is being held in England, so it’s coming home in that respect I guess

That’s entirely possible ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

its coming home, its coming home
football is coming home Sir Gareth makes all English people super proud, and showcasing how England are the best which is no surprise at all, given english competition also being the best in the world :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: onwards to the semi's vs the tiny and weak Denmark :laugh2: |
|
England played well....however I think Denmark will still be a tough game in all honesty. We are back at Wembley which is a plus but it will still be a hard game imo
