Where are we all from?

We could do a TiBB meet.

We'd have to wear badges.

user104658 02-08-2021 02:20 PM

I wouldn't go to a TiBB meet, but I would absolutely turn up to the same venue incognito and watch.

That's a shame seeing as some spend so much time on here and you get to know people.

…how much annual holiday to you get from work, Remy…?…or you’ll be still working remotely from Scotland…?….

Crimson Dynamo 03-08-2021 12:45 PM

In Scotland when you want to know where someone is from you ask

"wher do yoo stay?"

and if you reside in say Cumbernauld

you reply "am fae Cummernold"

if you reside in Auchtermuchty

you reply "em fae Muchtay"

and so forth

:hee:

7 weeks off but we both work remotely when we're in Scotland at my in-laws.
We plan on going in August but we must quarantine (because Boris is so nice, he opened up the borders for everybody except for people living in France even though we're fully-vaccinated)
When the baby will come, we'll stay in France for some time and will try to split our time differently.

…our nice Boris has got some French noble ancestry, I believe…he’s descended from a family of de Pfeffel’s ….although when we refer to him we don’t actually pronounce it that way that you probably do…our pronunciation is less eloquently French and a bit more rough around the edges…but we do sometimes use lots of hand gestures when we refer to him, which is very French…

…how excited you and your families must all be for the arrival of your gorgeous baby ……

Ayrshire of course you can just turn into one word:

“Amfayrshur”

If you are common.

I am not so I say “I grew up in Ayrshire but I haven’t been back since I was 18, because it is a ****hole”.

AnnieK 03-08-2021 02:57 PM

Crimson Dynamo 03-08-2021 03:00 PM

Yeah but since Scotland said they will follow what England has decided, we're in the same predicament.:bawling:

We don't claim any ancestry with him :joker:
Thanks for the sweet words darling

Also, to go back on the TIBB meet up thing, it was discussed 10 years ago I think and most people said it would be either a disaster or an orgy  I think some members met, can't remember who.
