The reality is that we're all gonna test positive for this variant sadly.

Hopefully as many of us will pull through this as humanly possible.

yes i was aware of this, of course she can isolate pretty easy this free time

shame she'll miss the sports personality award show because of this :(

Nicky91 14-12-2021 01:00 PM

maybe if she feels well enough and in case she wins, she can say something over a video link

:)

Australian Open 2022:
Emma Raducanu beaten in three sets by Danka Kovinic

[Raducanu says she has been nursing
the blister for about five days.
She has been "trying every solution" to tape
the affected area because it "kept ripping off".
"It has been a challenge, for sure,"
she told BBC Sport. "The past few days I have
been really hindered in my practice
and couldn't hit any forehands or serves at all.]

I love Emma but I do feel that a blister isn't quite the horrific injury it's been made out to be today

She’s struggling again ..

Was that huge win in the states just a fluke ?

I hope not, but she doesn't come across as having great mental strength at times

arista 25-05-2022 10:41 AM

i won't give up on supporting her, i really see the potential in her to become a huge tennis star, 1st set was good, but 2nd and 3rd sets were just bad, i guess mentally the stress got to her and Sasnovich took advantage of that, but a good learning experience yet again for Emma anyway

If it was one match then you can called it a fluke but it was to many matches

another huge talent you mean, Leylah Fernandez and she after making that USO final is looking more of a disappointment now compared to Emma

did Emma play bad against Sasno, nope, after the 3rd game of the 3rd set that was when Sasno played full on for the win and Emma kinda gave up but there are a lot of good things to be spoken of from the 1st set this match

but yeah easier to focus on the bad things than the good things

and we should give Emma a break, lesser pressure on her shoulders and be patriotic british people is my advice for you all, support her and don't hate on her

I like her for her brave , adventurous style of play and her personality.. being patriotic doesn’t come into it ( especially given she was born in Canada ).
