How much do they get paid, as heard Jenny was racing around Spain in a mobility scooter , and Lee was with his husband in Turkey. Or somewhere like that. Nice for some enjoying the winter sun.

Good news , always enjoyed seeing their reactions to TV shows :laugh: .

I think I read a while ago each “family” get about a grand a month, plus for each sitting they get complimentary food and drink (takeaways and the like) if they want paid for by C4.

Each weekly viewing is about 6 hours in one go! :skull:

So around a whole day’s worth of filming per month.

A grand a month ?!

Yeah - works out to about £41 an hour per household/family which ain't too shabby is it?

The tough bit is having to sit for six hours straight being filmed watching telly every week!

EDIT: just Googled and it's actually £1500 a month they get - so £62.50 an hour per household. :omgno:

Yeah, I watched a repeat of gogglebox last night actually and he was on with his mother, easy to see where he gets it from

They’re quite bland too , Sophie’s one liners are funny though

In retrospect the current Gogglebox is just quite plain overall, apart from J+L. But then again how do you poach a good cast for a show like that
