Anyone following the Amber and Johnny trial?
They've been playing the recorded tapes of their conversations. The one the UK trial said were irrelevant.
She admits to hitting him and starting fights! So that's why she didn't want all this to come out! |
No... I'm sick of hearing about them! And rooney and vary too. So bored of their public bickering.
|
I haven't really, I've seen the odd video here and there though

I've been through something similar and for me twh body language gives it away.
Johnny is being honest and truthful. Amber facial expressions say it all. She reminds me of my co coworkers. And she's the bitch from hell. |
Yes it on the News every day
Slicing his finger because she Chucked Glass Bottle at him From what he has slowly said She is Crazy. |
The exposure of Amber Heard is delicious, how she still has a job after everything that’s come out over the years, while Johnny was sacked as soon as she started spreading her lies, is nauseating
|
Whilst I think Amber Heard is almost certainly the instigator/factor influencing how this relationship unfolded ... ... ... I'll eat my hat if the abuse wasn't mutual.
The main difference (from recordings that were shared ages ago) is that he was deeply unhappy with it and wanted either for it to stop or for the relationship to end, whilst she (for what can only be some seriously warped relationship ideals) considered it all to be part and parcel of a "normal" intense relationship. |

***Obviously I'm not saying a person can't be abusive in one relationship and not in other but I would say that it's likely that abusers are abusive in most of their relationships |
Can't wait for her to take the stand.
Her lies will be exposed by the tapes. I bet she didn't expect for the evidence to ever come out! |
The relationship was toxic...but I do feel she is the instigator in all of this. However what they both seemingly did to each other was pitiful.
He seems to have carried all the guilt so far so hopefully she will be exposed. |

if i were Depp, i would have done a runner at the first sign of a problem. You know when you are in a toxic relationship and you will end up in trouble if you dont break it off

I have to say, since he left her he's back looking like his old self.
When he was with her he didn't look well at all. |

I gave kept up with the trial as it's doing my head in , it's obvious she's a liar & a bully . She was the one abusing Depp . |

What I meant was I gave up following the trial. But yeah it's about time people see what a twisted nut case she is,I don't even want to say her name . She already has far too much fame & publicity. |

Maybe the tide is turning for Amber :eyes: |

Sorry Depp fans - my opinion is pretty much solidified that their relationship ended as mutually abusive, and that the abuse in their relationship was started by and catalysed by Depp's mental health and substance abuse problems.
Yes she seems in many ways quite toxic/bitter at this point. She got into a physically and emotionally abusive relationship with a nearly 50 year old alcoholic when she was 25. I'd be more surprised if she wasn't like this now. https://twitter.com/drugproblem/stat...RtwkkYORw&s=19 Depp's demeanor in court recently hasn't improved my opinion of him. Its not "funny". |

On balance it seems more likely he's started following Depp in order to follow the case. He already follows Amber Heard. Taking it as a show of support is massively clutching at straws and IMO indicative of the one-sided view people have taken of this case (which seems to be usually rooted in being a Johnny Depp fan and wishful thinking more than an objective assessment of reality). Sorry again but as soon as I read they were 48 and 25 when this relationship started, and he had significant alcohol and drug problems when they got together, my view of this whole thing completely changed. |
Yeah can't disagree with TS here. People seem to want Depp to be innocent because of who he is, he's certainly not blameless in this
|
if he was blameless he would have walked away at the first sniff of a problem
|

No he clearly isn't. So far though Amber seems to be getting off the hook and I think she is equally as toxic. |

The issue I have I guess is one that other people often don't agree with me on, because there's this firm opinion that people turn 18 and then are adults and that's that. IMO, as they got into a relationship when she was 25, her bitterness/anger (what you could loosely term toxicity) will have been to some extent forged in and by this relationship. She was barely a few years out of school when they got together, he was an almost 50 year old with a long Hollywood career and decades of substance abuse under his belt. I previously hadn't actually realised how young she was when they met. It completely changes the scenario for me. I wouldn't question at all that their relationship was clearly extremely messy and codependant all round but I think the abusive stuff almost certainly started with him, and almost certainly when he was on benders. I believe the texts shown from him being sorry are real, I imagine he doesn't remember half of it and was sorry for the other half, that they made dark jokes about it etc., that it gradually formed part of an "intense relationship" that continued to spiral to the point where the abuse was on both sides. In all honestly the best thing that could happen is that they both get therapy, he gets sober, they acknowledge it as a messy period in their lives and move on... careers included... Neither necessarily needs "cancelling" if its in the past. |

And Depp's ex's have all defended him pretty much haven't they ?, So why has this relationship been a car crash ... surely all his relationships would have been problematic otherwise if he was such a 'bad' person?. But I guess I'll need to follow the trial closely . |

And yet Heard has a history of being violent and abusive, didn't she beat her ex up ?. I don't remember hearing anything about Depp being violent towards his ex's unless I've missed something. Everyone knows he has drug problems and she knew exactly what she was doing when she got with him. She knew he was older . He didn't exactly trick her. Actually Depp has now got a tainted career, he got removed from the new fantastic beasts movie whereas Heard seems to be getting more roles . |

Considering multiple of Ambers ex’s have come forward and said she was violent and abusive towards them to, the track record speaks for itself I think.
Also, sorry, but she most definitely benefited from the metoo movement, she took advantage of it to twist her narrative and Johnnys career was immediately effected as a result, Amber, while social media are rightfully against her, has yet to face any consequences for what there is undeniable proof that she did to him and even if he does win this case, I seriously doubt she ever will face any repercussions |

Exactly She knows full well his career will never be the same, mud sticks whether you're innocent or not. |

Im Team Johnny all the way.
Amber has a history of violent behaviour. She's bat**** crazy even when she's sober. |
Also, Amber admitted hitting Depp on tape.
Yet this is accepted because she's a woman :fist: |

I read Depp sent a text to Paul Bethany saying he wanted to set fire to Amber and have sex with her corpse, like what the **** is that ****? [emoji15] |
