Sausage factory fire

Alf 27-04-2022 10:52 AM

There is a conspiracy theory. I wouldn't have shared this news otherwise.

Crimson Dynamo 27-04-2022 10:53 AM

Well done or lightly smoked?

Alf 27-04-2022 11:02 AM

Why this story interested me was because a couple of days ago I saw something about an abnormal amount of food factories that had burnt down in America in the past couple of years and then I see this sausage factory story from Essex today. Coincidence?

Alf 27-04-2022 11:08 AM

This is the video I saw the other day.

[Plumes of smoke have been seen billowing
over Essex as firefighters tackle a blaze
at a sausage factory
Fire crews arrived at the scene just after
5am on Tuesday morning after reports
that a fire had broken out on the
industrial site on River Way in Harlow.

There were 10 fire engines on site by 7.17am,
with crews from Essex, Hertfordshire
and London in attendance.

Residents are urged to avoid the area
and people in Harlow Town have been
advised to keep doors and windows shut.

Dorottya Spanyik said her husband had
been working overnight in the unit when
the fire alarms went off.]

Maybe it was sloppy staff, that's a reasonable enough theory. Let's see if these incidents continue at a suspicious rate now that I've brought this to your attention.

Cremated would be my guess.

Alf 27-04-2022 11:59 AM

Something tells me this story is way more important to us than Angela Raynor winking at Boris.

michael21 27-04-2022 01:27 PM

Now we just need a mash factory to go up

Cherie 27-04-2022 01:31 PM

Maybe animal activists were at the root?

Nah, that's not exciting enough. My theory that the deep state are manufacturing a famine for us is more exciting. All part of the Great reset.

Speak for yourself. I live on sausages. I think the loss of sausages would be the final straw for me.

I think I can smell cooked sausages in the air

Alf 27-04-2022 02:08 PM

What do you think Toy Soldier? Are they manufacturing a famine with all these food factories burning down recently?

Let's say I was to ponder a conspiracy theory on this subject, just as a hypothetical, not saying I am or that I'm not, but if I was...

... I don't necessarily think they'd be manufacturing famine, as such. What they would in such a hypothetical situation be doing is creating artificial scarcity - which doesn't mean there won't be Sausages on the shelves, it just means they can justify the Sausages being twice as expensive.

In other words - like fuel, like energy, like the already-increasing food prices - it's going to promote yet another cost-of-living hike. There's a pattern of insidious gradual cost increases. A conspiracy theorist would say that's to justify a social reset, once everyone's so fed up of the struggle that they no longer care. The reset in that example would offer increased day to day comfort (which people will feel they lack) in exchange for fewer individual freedoms.

Your can make square sausage yourself by simply scraping roadkill off the ground and patting it into shape with a little salt and pepper.

bots 27-04-2022 05:36 PM

I've never tried a tattie scone, are they similar to a hash brown or is there quite a difference?

Alf 27-04-2022 08:33 PM

Does this guy do them correctly? because they look easy to make. I'll give them a go.

More than 120 firefighters tackled a huge fire at an industrial bakery in west London over night.
The blaze broke out at the site in Park Royal in the early hours of Wednesday and is under investigation by London Fire Brigade.
Smoke was seen billowing from the bakery and orange flames lit up the site on Minerva Road in the early hours.
Eleven gas cylinders were removed over fears they could explode when exposed to heat.
Most of the factory’s ground floor, as well as half of its roof, were damaged by the fire.
