Live debate on LBC now
Presenter shocked the case is no longer on TV news or radio news Is it the case? Because she is black |

Sadly though I'm guessing that the case has gone cold and that's why there isn't any updates on the case, because there isn't anything to report. |

Start said Police have said she seemed "dazed and Confused" All arrested are on bail. [A nurse who disappeared six weeks ago could still be frequently travelling by train around London, appearing dazed and confused, police have said. Concerns are growing for the safety of Owami Davies, 24, from Grays, Essex, who has not been seen since shortly after midnight on 7 July, walking on London Road in Croydon.] https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/...sed-police-say |

[Owami Davies: Met Police could face
investigation after previously speaking to missing student nurse So far, five people have been arrested as part of the inquiry into Owami Davies' disappearance, two on suspicion of murder and three on suspicion of kidnap - all of whom have been released on bail.] [The 24-year-old from Essex was last seen on 7 July in Croydon after leaving her family home in Grays, Essex, three days before, and has not yet been found. She was reported missing to Essex Police by her family on 6 July, with the force later handing the file over to the Met Police on 23 July. However, on Saturday, Scotland Yard revealed its officers had spoken to Ms Davies on 6 July, after attending an address in Croydon over concerns for the welfare of a woman. Both the police and ambulance service attended and spoke to Ms Davies, who told them she did not want help.] https://news.sky.com/story/owami-dav...nurse-12678213 Shocking update |
if someone says they don't want assistance, the police and ambulance service can't force it upon them
|
Yes, but those Professionals that visited her
need to give their report on her health, then. |
again, not if she says she doesn't require assistance, all they can report is that she didn't want assistance
|

that requires a very high threshold and usually requires some previous incidents to enforce
|
Its hard to fathom what is going in here, for all we know she want to escape her family, its a very strange case
Obviously the family knew where she went as they sent he police, or is it a contrilling boyfriend |

Yes in Hampshire
[Student nurse OIwami Davies has been found alive and well in Hampshire, the Met Police has confirmed. A member of the public came forward after a police appeal, which saw a huge public response and 117 possible sightings. Ms Davies, who was studying nursing at King's College London, left her home in Grays, Essex, on 4 July, and was last seen on CCTV in Croydon on 7 July. The Met said it would now review its investigation along with Essex Police.] https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-62649615 Some good News for her Mother. |

Something is wrong. Her mum must not get on with her or something? She would have seen herself on the TV news. This only came public when a member of public phoned the Police |
[On August 7, the Metropolitan Police released
CCTV images from a Croydon convenience store dated August 3, picturing a woman they said was Miss Davies. The force realised the error and withdrew the pictures 'hours later', issuing an apology. It said: 'We previously issued two still CCTV images of a woman in a shop which were titled Owami Davies shop. These images are not of Owami - please withdraw them from any publications. 'We will be sending out correct images ASAP and apologise for this error.' Amid reports about the police's mistake, a Met Police spokesman told MailOnline that the main focus should be on trying to find Miss Davies. They did not respond when asked about reports that the two pictures of the incorrect woman were left with media outlets for 'hours' or when questioned about how they identified her as being Miss Davies. In a statement, the Met said: 'The image was published in error and was removed as soon as this was realised.' It comes as it emerged that an NHS trust offered her a job then withdrew it because she did not respond to her emails while she went missing.] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...tude-safe.html |
the whole thing becomes stranger by the day
|
Hmm, I heard someone on the radio saying she should be prosecuted for wasting police time.
The full facts not known. She could have had a seizure and forgotten who she was or where she was. |

The good news is it is a happy ending for a woman for once, the bad news is lives have been turned upside down by whatever happened |
I'm guessing she had a major bust up with her family or something, I thought it strange at the time she wasn't reported missing till a week after she left home suddenly
|
Thank God for that.
