Holly Willoughby is fighting to keep her TV job ("Queue-jumping" Phil Axed from ads)
|
This is so ridiculous. I don't care for her, really don't like him, but still, this is stupid lol.
|
it is stupid, but those are the breaks for the self entitled
|
Lmao, the people signing that petition are probably the ones that normally spout off things like ‘go woke for broke’ or constantly decry cancel culture :joker:
|
Standing in line and waiting your turn is so very British abs people get pissed off if someone jumps in front even in a short line
I don’t watch them but if a police officer can keep her job after pissing in a changing room the outrage is pathetic |

The thing is so many queued for hours on end to pay their respects…I get that politicians/ heads of state etc have the right to queue jump….but Holly and Phil are just TV pundits. They should have queued like the rest of us…given us an insight into the dedication to queue like many of their viewers…they would have got so much more from it and more respect from the general public…

27K signed to get them Axed.

The fact that it’s her but not him…
Fern Britton all over again. |

But I really don't get why they jumped the queue. |
Bye bye bitches. Phil has lied all his life but this lie will see the end of him and he takes the booby down with him.
|
I doubt her job is in any real danger, and i agree this is very silly .

The media had free passes to jump the que and at the end of the day they part of the media I remember preparing a wedding venue with my brother and me and my partner got invited to the wedding reception for me helping out. |
the gay and the booby have to go. they are pale and stale. be gone, we need black talent only.

A few thousand people saying they should be fired means nothing. Most if not all probably don't even watch the show
|
I think they should have queued.
I can't stand these 2 however so I'm not going to say the outrage of a few thousand is wrong on this I love Dancing on Ice but every series it's ruined by these 2 presenting it. I never ever tune into This Morning when they're on. They come across ignorant. However they were wrong not to queue. There's no getting away from that in my view. |
She must be sacked
|
they have put on an entitled air for years is the basic problem
|
I've not really been following, were they there for their show? If they were there to film something, then tbh I say good on them for finding a loophole to save queueing up.
If not, I still don't think it should cost them their jobs. |
The fact is they lied about it saying they was filming something which has not been shown at all
|
And they are certainly not journalists they are presenters who read autocue
|
what could they possibly have been filming it was all live streamed ....
why would Holly be sacked and not Phil I think it is enough that they will have to endure a bit of ribbing for a while Dominos tweet :joker: apologies for the Sun link... https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/19865034...dominos-tweet/ |
Half of you can’t see the wood for the trees.
Every other person in the world has spoken to someone about the queen passing So at some point holly and Phil would be talking about it. Some times you get a company car or staff discount or the right to do things others can’t ! It’s just the way the world works. Look at it from a logical point of view and not a personal one |

It’s basically giving in to mob rule. It’s wasn’t so long ago on here member’s tried to get lt banned because they don’t agree with his out spoken views. Should we live in world we’re you can’t speak or do things because others won’t like it. |

"They did not jump the queue, have VIP access or file past the Queen lying in state - but instead were there in a professional capacity as part of the world's media to report on the event."
ITV covered the event and they were not part of the coverage team. Over on BBC their counterpart on breakfast queued up as normal. No other news presenter jumped the queue. There was no reason at all for them to jump the queue and the fact that they tried to cover it up is the real issue |

Exactly It’s like complaining when the hosts are interviewing all the celebs when they walk the red carpet into the Oscars ceremony !! “ Maybe they should be made to stand in the crowd and shove the microphone out when someone famous wakes by …” Give me a break Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
Hundreds replied to Domino's Pizza, with one writing: "They aren't going to eat the pizza, they ordered it in their capacity as VIP journalists; they're just going to look at the pizza from a distance & report on it with a smartphone.
|
yeah, i think they have been liberal with the truth and thats the big problem

I don’t think either one of them have ever claimed to be intellectuals .. that’s why they are on This Morning and not Question Time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
The truth is it doesn’t matter if they were filming or not because at some point on the show they could talk about their personal experience of going past the queens coffin
Let’s all be bloody honest, wait 14 hours in a que or get in and out |

I saw them saying how profound their experience was.
and then in the same breathe saying how the couldnt get close and it wasnt a proper experience. If it was that profound you'd then go an queue up and get the proper experience, unless of course you knew that you'd already jumped the queue and got the full experience. DISGRACE to LGBT community and WOMEN NATION! |
