Roy keane on Ronaldo
Thoughts? Not a Man Utd fan or a Ronaldo fan but I can't disagree with Roy, it is disrespectful for a player who is arguably one of the greatest ever, to be left to rot on the bench like that, why not let him go and finish his career actually getting a game? He's still a really good player. It's a shame to see his career end this way
|
if i was being cynical, i would say it was engineered by ten Hag. Piss your star player off until he snaps and then plead innocence

quite simply, i don't think he likes Ronaldo

Agree with Keane.
When you get to coach Tom Brady, you don't bench Tom Brady. When you get to coach Michael Jordan, you don’t bench Michael Jordan. So, for Ten Hag to just bench one of the best ever due to - He doesnt fit into our system' is massively disrespectful. Will Ten Hag ever coach another player of Ronaldo’s status and ability, I doubt it. Ronaldo needs to leave and we can all predict that where ever he goes, he’s gonna light the place up. Man U fans who simply say – He doesn’t fit into the system – need to think about that when you’re struggling to make the Champions league. I don’t see what Ten Hag has done to make them better. Now he’s finally playing Casemiro in the middle they look a bit better but this is not a good Man Utd team |

i think it's the fact that ten hag blocked Ronaldo moving in the summer and then benched him. If someone doesnt fit the system, let them move and get some money back. I think there is a lot more to this than the public is aware of. Ronaldo was going to spill beans at the end of the transfer window and then said nothing, so thats still to come (probably serialised in a tell all book )

who ever is at fault, Ronaldo needs to be gone from man u as soon as possible
|
Utd last season based all their play around Ronaldo. They have a new manager, new players, and are in a rebuilding season. Rondaldo can't be the main man moving forward. Maybe he should play more. But this is nothing new, world class players reaching the end of their careers are often relegated to the bench. It's natural club progression.

Ronaldo needs to go to Inter Miami, to play at Beckham's team :D

Tbh if Man Utd doesn't want Ronaldo then we'll have him, and if for some reason he can't cut it against Hogan, Deeney & Jutkuewicz, we'll then send him on loan to Tamworth. |
|
Maybe he shouldn't have returned to Man Utd.
I do admire Ronaldo. It's sad he feels this way or has been made to feel this way. |
Respect works both ways i'm afraid, and there has been little evidence of him respecting the manager or the club in the last few months

Everyone knows who Ronaldo is.:joker: |
I normally have zero time for this guy but I do feel for him since he’s recently gone through the tragedy of losing a child .
They were discussing him on TalkSport this morning and apparently the only offer he got was from a team in Saudi Arabia which he declined … so unless he offers to play for free he’s beggared really . He wants Champions League football to add to his CL goal tally … in his never ending battle with Messi . https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d3306149c8.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
he has played his last game for Man U that is for sure
|
As I recall, he got lots of sympathy from united when he lost his baby, it was very public, they gave him lots of time off too. He refused to play for the team during the summer tour , he destroyed the phone of a young fan last season, he showed complete disrespect on numerous occasions that i have seen this season. He signed a contract with united knowing what position they were in. He is the highest paid player in the premier league. I'm struggling to see what he is so unhappy about other than his ego may have taken a bashing with substitutions and not being picked for the team

BBC has be given the Clip from
Talk TV as Piers Morgan interviews him. Asking the Direct Question Clever to allow a clip as they (BBC) have to show full screen Talk TV. Logo So a big advert for his 8PM show |

If i was a betting man, i would say that was his exact intention when he did the interview |
If you listen to Talksport right now Piers is about to come on to talk about the interview

i wouldn't want this turd in my team, not even if he's a free agent
am pretty happy as it is now with my fortuna, someone like Yilmaz might also be ambitious but at least he also remains quite a teamplayer, and not feeling too big for a small team as fortuna at all, but wants to help us grow into a stable mid table team with european cup ambitions Burak Yilmaz therefore i find much better than Mr ''i feel too good for Man United'' CR7, if Ronaldo was a better player, he would set his ego aside to help out United also to use his experience to help youngsters learn from him and improve, but no he as usual has to throw a tantrum and basically insult entire technical staff :idc:  |
same also with Mario Gotze, a world champion player still at the top of his game even after many injuries, signing to all surprise for a year with PSV, and now shining with Frankfurt helping them get into subtop (around a solid 4th place so far)

and btw Rangnick is a successful sports director, especially RB Leipzig where he had surprise successes at, launching the coaching career of Julian Nagelsmann too, and i myself quite liked him at Schalke (back when Schalke wasn't as **** as they are now, and they used to play european cup football) |
Cristiano Ronaldo faces an ignominious end to his glorious Manchester United career because of his savage TV attack on Erik ten Hag and the club.
United released a holding statement in response to Ronaldo’s incendiary interview with Piers Morgan and they have not rushed into any snap judgement on the Reds legend’s future. They clearly will not tolerate Ronaldo’s bitter outburst and their short statement talked about “continuing” the “togetherness” in the dressing room being built under Ten Hag. The club said: “ Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo. The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established. "Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff and fans.” United are now considering all their options in response to Ronaldo’s attack where he claims he feels “betrayed”, including taking legal advice. They will also want to watch the Portugal star’s interview on TalkTV, which is being broadcast in two parts tomorrow and Thursday. United are continuing high-level discussions between CEO Richard Arnold, director football John Murtough and Ten Hag while the Glazers are also in the loop. It is understood United totally reject Ronaldo’s stinging criticisms of them and Ten Hag and they remain fully behind the Dutchman’s vision for the club. Ronaldo, 37, was set to leave in the summer when the two-year deal he signed when he returned to Old Trafford in August 2021 ended in June and now he is expected to go in the January transfer window. United are considering the manner of his departure and they may have grounds to sack him or they could terminate his contract. Ironically, this would suit Ronaldo, who has joined up with Portugal for the World Cup, and he tried desperately to leave in the summer. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...rview-28488845 |
He'll be very welcome at Everton football club.
Just bring your boots lad and we'll give you a run-out. |
The mans ego is out of control and Piers is just allowing him to vent to get views
He has done the Man U boss a favour |
Pretty sure Piers wrote an article about him in the past calling him a spoilt brat
|
Shame it has ended like this, he should have called time on his career two years ago if he wanted to play every game for 90 mins p, he got a 4 game run ending with being made captain so United have tried
|
Anyone seen how well Messi is playing this season after so many said he was finished. Some say he's back to being the best players in the world. Great players can play long after most think they're done
I stand by my earlier comment. ETH doesn't know enough about football to treat an all time great like this. |

pretty simple Messi has been crap so far this season - was awful against Auxerre |

Ronaldo will go some where else and light it up. Edit: Some sources say 13 goals in 19. A has been, apparently. |
