There are a lot of American nominees. I thought the BAFTAs were for British talent and productions?

It is more about the Film being made in the UK
or funded by UK group.

Absolutely none of this circle-jerk is "needed", why single her out?

Getting a bit of stick for not mentioning the late Bernard Cribbins in their tribute to those that have passed away over the last year.

They had a Image

At one Point
they Rushed 2 Images of Dead stars together.

This was a Live Show

If they took Pathetic Alison Hammond
out of the Back stage chats
This Live Show could have gone far better

The press are having a go at the presenters
reported today.

Why spend money on Ricky Gervais presenting when you can get a women that was voted out second from series 3 of Big Brother for cheap. The public who pay the TV licence don't deserve the best presenters for their money, they should be happy with the cheap z listers.

Baftas 2023 review: Richard E Grant and Alison Hammond serve up an
embarrassing primetime turkey

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/content/...eg?imwidth=800

Attempts to drag it into the 21st century with a new-look show were more
embarrassing than Austin Butler’s accent. By the end, even those golden mask
gongs were grimacing.

The problems began with co-hosts Richard E Grant and Alison Hammond - the
most unlikely pairing since Samantha Fox and Mick Fleetwood at the Brit
Awards. Grant nervously compèred, while This Morning’s Hammond conducted
inane backstage interviews.

TV ratings for backslapping showbiz bashes have been in steady decline. The
Baftas gamely tried to reinvent itself, but did it deserve to monopolise two
hours of the Sunday night schedules, annoying Antiques Roadshow and Call the Midwife fans in the process? No.
